About this property
A great getaway! Boat available for rent. Private and quiet. A must see!
Spacious waterfront home with 257 feet of frontage on the Chanel leading to Tubbs lake with access to over 2000 acres of water on the Martiny Chain of Lakes where there is Great fishing and wildlife to be seen. This home offers 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, living room, family room with fireplace, dining room, eat-in kitchen with new appliances and furniture. One king size bed, two queen beds, and two cots. The Master bedroom has room to add an air mattress for additional sleeping. There is a sectional sofa and couch for additional space. Outdoor fire pit with seating. Lots of space inside and out for memories to be made. Two decks, and dock complete the package. Two Adult Kayaks also available and one child’s, there is no charge for the use of them. It is a short drive to town for shopping, at the local grocery store and meat market, it is small but the butcher is fabulous. There is a large grocery store 20 minutes away in Remus, or an, ALDIs, target, Walmart, Sam’s club, or Meijer 30 minutes away in Mt. Pleasant. The soaring eagle casino, or water park are also located in Mt. Pleasant. We found the place and area while visiting the daughters when they went to Central Michigan for college. It is a great for getting away relaxing by the fire or exploring the Martiny chain of lakes on the pontoon boat that is available to rent. Minimum 3 night stay. One hour and 15 minutes to tippy dam for great fishing and close to state land for hunting. Hundreds of acres of state land to explore. Tubing at the river 15 minutes away. We rented a place every year for us and our 5 children and grandchildren to vacation together and decided we should just buy a place we could go to with the kids anytime of year. In the winter it is so relaxing to sit with a fire in the fireplace, yummy food in the oven, playing games with the kids or out in the snow. Since buying this place we have gained 5 more grandchildren making it a total of ten, and our 11th on the way July of 2024. We love going and staying there if only for a weekend and hope you will enjoy it too. One of the reasons we hose a home with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. The home is on an acre of land with lots of room for yard games and sitting by the fire pit.

We loved the place great location big enough for our two families, gave the cleanliness a 4/5 cause the dishes in the dishwasher were dirty and I found blonde hairs in my sheets( I washed them - no big deal). Would definitely stay here again. Boat rental was flawless and very reasonable! Highly recommend!

Not sure why the dishes were dirty. I know the previous renter couldn’t find a pod and then said they did? I’ll check with the girl who cleans. Out of curiosity which room had the blonde hairs? I will follow up on that too. Glad you enjoyed your stay and you are welcome to come back anytime 🙂
Quiet and relaxing place. We rented the boat and explored the canals and lake. Caught fish and saw a lot of wildlife. Swans, Turtles, and even a Sandhill Crane. Would love to go back again.

We would love to have you for a return stay, Glad you enjoyed your stay!
We enjoyed the size of the home that comfortably hosted 9 people. Had everything needed that made it feel like home. The boat was a great addition to explore all the channels and lakes!
We had a nice stay at the property. Boat rental was mostly beyond our budget (we rented it for one day), but it is a lovely kayak ride over to Tubbs lake from the cabin. Thank you for a nice week!
Property was nice, same as the pictures posted. Boat was nice, didn't have any problems with anything. Enjoyed my stay there and would stay again. Weather wasn't the best, stormed for two days. So didn't get much fishing in. But enjoyed time with kids and friends inside why it stormed.

Sorry about the weather. We do hope you enjoyed your stay.
You can not tell from outside how big it is on the inside. The backyard by the canal was amazing. The deck was great to sit on watch the kids fish, kayak play games. Had an amazing time with son daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Only bad issue i had was the garbage was left by the other people and you could smell it in the back while sitting on the deck.

So sorry about the garbage, if we had known sooner my husband would have been up to take care of it. If you ever decide to rent again we will give you a discount. Glad you were able to make some great memories with your family while you were there.
We loved boating through the open channels and seeing the beautiful vegetation and wildlife on the lake. The house was nice, and had everything we needed for our trip. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and fishing in the canal by the house. Great get-a-way for any family! Owners were very helpful!
Had a great time here! Was nice being able to rent pontoon with the stay. Plenty of water to see and fish. Kids had fun fishing off shore, making s’mores at the fire. Plenty of room inside the house. Was great to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle and unplug for a few days.
My dad, brother, and I stayed for a few days for our annual fishing trip up north. We enjoyed everything about the place. It’s a beautiful property and very well maintained. The pontoon was perfect for us, despite some trouble the last day but anyone who owns a boat knows things happen. The lakes were beautiful and we had a very relaxing time. This place has plenty of space for everyone and one of the nicest yards around. Host was very responsive and would highly recommend this place for a nice summer getaway.
Neighbors were great gave us good advice. Boat ran great and made our stay amazing. Only downside was the thermostat was locked at 72 and everyone complained it was warm even my 70 year old mother who is always cold. We slept 8 and an infant i think
12 would be tight. Overall it was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the deck and time relaxing. I would recommend it to anyone and would stay again.

You should have messaged us I would have sent you the code for the thermostat.
Rented this house with my Mom and Twin Sister for our birthday weekend - it was great! House is clean and roomy. Hosts are very responsive to questions, but some info was lacking on the check in page. Instructions for check in and check out were easy to follow once we got them. Comfy furniture and beds, clean linens, fast wifi and right on the water. Couldn't ask for more.
The house was spacious and clean.
The host replied to our inquiries in a timely manner and was helpful in providing other info we asked about. It’s a great place for anyone wanting a quiet getaway.
Suggestion for Improvement:
Allow your guests to adjust the thermostat while they are there
Note: The neighbor had firewood at a good price 😀
The House is beautiful and clean the property is spacious and quiet, being on the canal was peaceful and fun.The Master Bedroom & Bathroom/Shower were amazing. The Boat was great to have and you catch a ton of fish off the dock and in the canal & Lakes. We wish there was a bit more swimming close by as the closest thing is a boat launch but the owners were amazing at pointing us to multiple very nice beaches within 20 mins. Overall a Great Location to spend a vacation. We had 6 adults and 3 young kids and were not cramped at all. We all Loved it!
