The Lodge sits on 4 acres, so there are no neighbors right up against you. You will love the privacy of the deck overlooking the river and yard! Enjoy the beautiful mountain views out every window! You will love the updated, comfortable rooms and wish you would’ve stayed longer!
The open concept living/ dining/ kitchen allows everyone to be part of the conversations about your adventures each day! The large game room is a fun place to come together on cold or rainy evenings.
The kitchen has 2 refrigerators, double oven, microwave, dishwasher with plenty of cookware, bakeware and dishes- everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. The dining room is large enough to seat 25 guests comfortably. The living room has a large comfy sectional and a 65" smart tv.
The Lodge is the perfect location for families and friends to gather to make memories where the river meets the mountains!

Searching for a small rustic style wedding/ elopement venue with river and mountain views? You’ll love the riverside ceremony location and patio for a small reception. There IS an additional event fee and the bride/ groom MUST contact the owner, Melissa at Rio River Retreat by phone prior to booking a wedding/ vow renewal ceremony to make sure that Rio River Retreat is the perfect fit for your special day. The event fee includes the riverside aspen arch, rustic benches, white wooden folding chairs and reception tables. Maximum number of guests is 25.

The lodge is fully furnished and newly updated with hand hewn log beds and memory foam mattresses. Enjoy the beautiful view of the river from the main floor and upstairs bedrooms or the tranquility and quietness of the basement bedrooms.
You will love the spacious game room for playing pool, ping pong a kid size foos ball table and a smart TV for watching movies or listening to music. There are various games and puzzles for all to enjoy after a long day of hiking, fishing or skiing.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the large deck that overlooks the river or watch the rafters and kayakers float by in the afternoon.
WIFI is available throughout the lodge.
Hunters——-We are HORSE FRIENDLY!! Board your horse(s) on the same property. A covered stall and large pen are available at a reasonable cost to both guests and non-guests.
Enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities in and around South Fork- fishing, hiking, riding ATV's, biking, exploring jeep trails, golfing, rafting, and kayaking.
