Carlos Pointe #136 Tropical Beachfront Condo

Summary:

Beautiful Beachfront, 2nd Floor Corner Unit with Gorgeous Gulf of Mexico Views. Located in the Carlos Pointe complex at the South-end of Fort Myers Beach.



The Space:

2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condo with beautiful Gulf of Mexico views located at the southern end of Fort Myers Beach. As you enter the condo, you are welcomed by the tropical feel of the unit with the sunshine coming from the side windows and large glass slider leading to the lanai overlooking the beach.



The kitchen has been upgraded with beautiful cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and stocked with all the essentials of home including many small appliances. Our family room has a sleeper sofa, oversized chair and flat screen TV. Dining area has seating for all 6 guests. Throughout the condo there are many upgraded features including remodeled bathrooms, upgraded counter tops, tile floors throughout living area and washer and dryer. 



Our master bedroom has a king size bedroom with TV and private master bathroom with spacious countertops with a sink and tub/shower setup. Bedroom #2 has 2 twin beds, and an attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. Other amenities to make your stay more comfortable include Free Wi-Fi, linens and towels. Linens are included! We provide all bed linen, bath towels, hand towels and even a set of towels you can take to the beach. Our property has a large lanai with outdoor seating, enjoy the beautiful Gulf of Mexico waters and sandy beach from your private lanai.



Carlos Pointe community has a large heated pool with lounge chairs, a game room with a ping pong table and outdoor BBQ. There are many Fort Myers Beach amenities for your to do during your stay. You can walk to the beach (at your door step), local restaurants and shops. There is also a trolley that will take you up and down the island if you want to explore the Time Square area, Lovers Key Beach and the Shellmound House.

We would like to note that there may still be construction occurring or construction materials around the property as a result of renovations after Hurricane Ian.



Please note, during winter season months (mid December to mid April), our property is rented Saturday to Saturday a with one week minimum. Minimum age to rent is 25 years old. Please consider Travel Insurance for unexpected situations preventing travel.



This unit has a keyless entry so you can head right to the unit at check-in time. A code will be emailed to you a few days before arrival.

Great Stay

We had a great time on our little family vacation. The condo was clean and perfect. Just a short walk to the ocean. Location was great and quiet. Had an issue with the garbage disposal but property management was great with working it out to get it fixed. If I had to pick something I would say the check out time was very inconvenient. When you have children and a whole condo to pack up, 9 am is really early to make sure you are out of there.

Great for beach walking; condo needs attention

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this condo is great for beach walking and birding and the nearby sanctuary and Lovers Key. The condo key pad worked only sometimes so we were given a master key. It was not fixed nor replaced during our 2 week visit. The master bathroom cabinets have peeling paint. There were no placemats or coasters for the glass top tables. When we arrived I had to vacuum the floor because there was sand on it. I also had to clean crumbs off the kitchen counter. That done we found the condo comfortable for the two or us. The road construction and traffic are the main reason we would not return to this area.

Clearly a lot of thought was given to the interior decorating. One thing that needs to be addressed is that Carlos Pointe requires a security code at the elevators in order to access the building if you do not have a key. Fortunately a couple of residents helped us out on arrival.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo location and being an end unit was a plus. However, there were no extras. The beach chairs and umbrella were ancient and uncomfortable. The living room is not like shown. One less chair and the couch is not the one in picture. If we had any more then 2 people it would have been tight in the living room for seating. Only 1/2 a roll of TP in each bathroom and NO trashbags for kitchen. Lanai furniture also ancient and paint peeling. There was a quick response to the broken couch. We were never given the elevator code so when moving in we had to wait for someone to come by. We had groceries in the car. We still don’t have an elevator code but used the key for the stairs that were inside the unit. No batteries in the TV remote, light burned out over stove. This place needs some TLC. We will not stay here again.

Ft Myers - wonderful!

We had a great time on our recent stay at Carlos Point. The unit is beautifully decorated, updated and extremely clean. The kitchen was well stocked. There were beach chairs and an umbrella which made the beach days enjoyable. The grounds, pool and pool area were very clean and pretty. Beach is nice and very large, however the red tide brought a lot of seaweed in and it was a bit smelly and gross. We highly recommend this unit and complex and would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay in our Carlos Pointe condo. We love spending time on our balcony, just enjoying the warm weather and the beach & ocean view before us, The condo was comfortable had all we needed.
