Can't say enough good things about this property and the owners who we were in communication with the entireProcess. Our family of 4 was in town for aBaseball tournament and we wanted a placeOn the beach. The condo was very spacious, clean and top notch. Loved the area as well. There may be a lot of places to choose from but if you want a can't miss condo.... this is the one you want to spend your family vacation in.

This condo was exactly the perfect location for a relaxing beach vacation! Right on the beach. Beautiful pool. Amazing view. Clean and organized. Incredible communication with host. Short drive to restaurants and other activities. The condo was stocked with everything you might need for a day at the beach…beach umbrella, towels, sand toys, beach chairs, beach bags to help haul everything down and back. So amazing! Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to feed our fam when we just wanted to stay in. We loved our stay! We will be back you need to stay here!!

The location is lovely. Bay on one side, beach on the other. The unit has a beautiful updated kitchen. The rooms are nicely appointed. South end of the island, so not so much traffic and noise. Gorgeous beachfront. Everything you could ask for.

Pleasant winter getaway at lovely beach-front condo

We enjoyed a nice two-week stay at this condo. The building is right on a beautiful white sand beach that is easy to walk along, play on, soak up the sun, and enjoy the waves. The unit is on the side of the building such that two lanais overlook the pool and see the ocean toward the front and one lanai looks across the road and toward the bay. There were comfortable chairs and tables on the lanai making them enjoyable, however at times the air conditioner noise was a bit loud and with the beach set-back it was harder to hear the waves. Most of the condo was lovely and relaxing with a very well done beach theme. The kitchen was amazing - one of the most beautiful and functional kitchens I've ever seen or utilized (including my own). The master bedroom and master bath could use a refresh and updated decorating to be more consistent with the rest of the condo. In some regards the condo was well stocked with spices, coffee filters, beach play toys, and other items from other travelers. We were a little disappointed with the limited/lacking quantity of some basic supplies we expected to be there (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dish soap, hand washing soap in the guest bath). These are items that rental condos we've stayed in before had furnished and that we furnished when we owned a rental condo. During our two-week stay we needed to purchase all of these. There was dishwasher detergent and we knew to bring our own shampoo, conditioner, and shower/bath wash. The location was on the quieter end of the Ft. Myers Beach island. While there were limited restaurants nearby, there was a Publix grocery store within one mile so we ate in quite a bit. We enjoyed nearby Lovers Key State Park and took the Key West boat shuttle also. There is road construction on the main drag which did slow down traffic at times. The owner, Nathan, was very responsive to our communication. We had a slight miscommunication between him, the cleaning lady, and us when we checked out, but Nathan worked with us to resolve this. I would recommend immediately contacting him about any concerns as opposed to expecting the cleaning lady to relay an accurate message. Overall, we would recommend this condo and will consider staying there again. It is a lovely unit, complex, and area overall.

My family and I had a wonderful 2 week vacation at this lovely condo. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable, kitchen very well equipped, and the beach chairs, towels and toys were greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every night on the beach and porch. Island Winds is ideally located by restaurants (we enjoy Legno Italian Kitchen and Junkanoo), Publix is very convenient and there is a farmers market close by. The condo’s heated pool is kept at the perfect temp. The atmosphere around the condo property is welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed the many get togethers with other condo guests. Both Laura and Nathan are great hosts and communicated with us thru out. For guests with children the Fort Myers Beach library is terrific. We will certainly be back!
Island Winds is right on the beach on the “quieter” end of the island.
One has a wonderful view from the condo and lanai. You can check pool and watch sun set.

Absolutely loved this property.

Owners were great. Condo had everything you could ask for. The only thing I can add is if you like to sleep cold take a fan. The master bedroom gets a little warm during the night. Everything else was perfect we will be renting again.

This was such a great experience. The condo was just as expected. It was clean and the perfect size for a family of 4. Loved that there was a washer & dryer so we didn't have to over pack for our beach vacay. There were plenty of bath towels and beach towels to use. The communication with the owners was superior. Easy check in and out. If I had to complain, it would be the master bedroom was a little warmer then the rest of the condo and the water temp in the master bath is set to warm. This would not stop me from renting again or recommending to someone else.

This is just what a beach vacation should be in my opinion! The condo was lovely- beautiful views of the ocean and the bay. Right on the beach! Shells everywhere! The kitchen was awesome - so well equipped! Pool and hot tub were awesome also! The only thing that could be better - the twin beds were a little too hard but we used the pull out couch instead so it was fine! We loved staying here!

Such A Great Time!!!

The pictures simply do not do this location justice. We had an excellent time and could not have been happier with our decision to stay at this condo. We can’t wait to book our vacation for next year at the same condo. The owners have thought of everything including an entire closet of beach chairs and toys and coolers as well as an entire cupboard full of games for the entire family.

The owner lied to me. I stopped by the property to get the lay of the land and some big fat jerk claiming to be the head of the owners association turned me away and offered no resolve for my questions. Also, the owner of our condo told me the group ahead of us was departing on Friday and that we could get in Friday after the cleaning people finished. She later changed her tune and Tod me that I misunderstood her, which was a lie

Just BOOK it!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay and can't wait to make it back! The property was just as described and I felt like it was even nicer in person. All beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked. The beach equipment totally came in handy! You can sit out on the balcony and enjoy your morning coffee with a great view of the beach or overlooking the pool. It was really quiet for a condo. We did not hear any noise at all from any of the other units above or beside. From the Fort Myer airport to the condo, it was an overall very easy, affordable, and comfortable trip! We can't wait to re-book in 2022!

Spectacular Stay!

Laura and Nathaniel were amazing hosts and their condo was perfect for our family of four. The pool was great, short walk to the beach and everything we needed was there. The only thing that would have been nice would be if there were a cooler that we could have taken down to the beach. They were quick to answer questions and our check in and out process was seamless. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

Fantastic Condo!

This was our kids' first time to Fort Myers beach, and we're so glad we chose this condo! They had their own room, and my husband and I had the master bedroom. Why they chose this property

We used to spend a lot of time on the East Coast of Florida, but we found that we enjoyed the white sandy beaches, warm water and sunsets that were available to us on Ft. Myers Beach much better. So, we purchased this condominium and have never even thought about selling it. It feels like home to us. Fort Myers Beach has one of the safest beaches in the world with a family friendly atmosphere.

What makes this property unique
