Relax at the Cabin, or use this as your base for river tubing, kayaking, fishing, hiking. whether you want to rent a kayak or canoe and go “Way Down Upon the Suwanee River” or sit on an inner tube and float for an hour, or 6 hours, down the Santa Fe River, or paddle board the various Springs, or just go swimming in the Springs they are ALL close and accessible!!!
The bedrooms look out on woods and fields, and one does not have to look hard to see bunnies and deer wandering by.
The Spa Room was designed to create a space of relaxation and peace. An early morning meditation in the spa room, use the upper-body and elliptical machines, do your sit ups on our provided mats. and don't forget to do your LOW impact aerobics in the 100* water of the spa- and purge your body of toxins in the 3-person SAUNA as you read a book from my library, and then a jump in the cool water of the outside pool,( the Swedes jump into the snow- hey this is Florida!) is a wonderful way to start any day! just lay back on the 8-person couch and relax!
End the day back in the Spa room, repeat the morning ritual before bed, (and don't forget to brush your teeth), and get a good night’s sleep, because the big decision in the morning is "do we go exploring" or hang out at the pool and spa room again today?"' Decisions, decisions, decisions!
Walk the five fenced in acres of the property. Set up your easel under one of the many 100-year-old trees and paint your day away or set up your table and set up your laptop (wireless available through much of the property), and work on your novel, memoirs, or write that love letter that is so long overdue.
The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to serve eight! Just bring your food, spices and recipes! The kitchen is open design, so the chef(s) can talk with those in the living and dining room, and the kitchen is big enough to accommodate up to SIX people cooking in it at the same time. With the open kitchen the chefs can converse and see all in both Dining room and Living room

One of the few locations in the entire United States that can boast this! WHERE ELSE CAN YOU BE ON EITHER THE GULF OF MEXICO AND ATLANTIC OCEAN BEACHES IN LESS THEN 90 MINUTES! Take that day trip to that quaint fishing village on the Gulf of Mexico after working out and relaxing in the Spa Room and still be back in plenty of time to work out or relax in the sauna, swim-spa or outside pool; and STILL be in bed by 9 PM! After all, tomorrow you will be doing the SAME routine to visit the Atlantic Ocean instead.!
The HARDEST decision you will probably make is " DO i want to go out site seeing? the Gulf of Mexico? the Atlantic Ocean? both less than 90 minutes away!
Do I want to travel less than 20 minutes for 3 rivers for kayaking and inner tubing?, the best white-water rapids in FL? the best under water cave diving in the entire United States? Over 6 beautiful different parks with Natural Springs?
Do I want to go to a wild game rescue park 10 minutes away? horseback riding around the springs? or visit a place that houses Falcons?
Maybe just go Antiquing in Rural America?
OR MAYBE, JUST MAYBE... we should stay home at our PRIVATE CABIN/SPA and just CHILL?!

The Oasis in the Woods i my permanent home when I am not traveling. I am a writer, and have worked as a waiter, house painter, laborer, and have owned 6 businesses including a cooking sauce company, a catering company, and a seafood marketing company. I have worked in the corporate world in developing and marketing seafood, and am an expert in creating "value added" products from commodities. I have been a homeless advocate, a writer, an instigator, and a lover of justice and peace. Why they chose this property
The log cabin chalet has 18 ft high ceilings in the living room and spa room, and gives you a sense of openness not often found in many places. The bedroom looks out on woods and fields, and one does not have to look hard to see bunnies, coyotes, and deer, wandering by. The spa room was designed to create a space of relaxation and peace. An early morning meditation in the spa room, (meditation cushions and mats are available), a walk on the treadmill, upper body multi-machine and pull up machine30-50 "laps" in the endless pool, sit in the sauna and purge your body of toxins as you read a book from my library, and then a jump in the cool water of the outside pool, is a wonderful way to start any day.
