Whether you come to kayak, fish, explore the abundance of local springs, dive, hunt, birdwatch, or just sit back with a book you will find it here.
This 2 Bedroom 1 Bath house on stilts is nicely appointed to provide you a restful retreat. The 850 square foot home sits on just shy of an acre of land that opens up to 150 feet of your own private river frontage. Two little known springs directly across the river feed into the Suwannee. Launch kayaks from the private dock and you are a few paddles away. Fully equipped kitchen makes mealtime an easy option, and with two large sliding glass doors, your view of the river goes unimpeded while cooking and dining. One bedroom features a king bed, and the other offers a queen bed as well as twin bunk beds. Satellite internet helps you stay connected, and drives the TV which features apps to deliver whatever content you subscribe to (owners provide Netflix and Disney+). A large porch with rocking chairs and ceiling fans offers a view of the river while enjoying your morning coffee, and/or evening beverage of choice. Downstairs you will find plenty of space for cookouts, relaxing around the fire pit, or resting riverside on the wood deck and private floating dock. String café lights bring the nights to life, extending your outdoor space into the evening.
There are plenty of deer and wildlife; now the only thing missing is you. Come Rest and Re-Charge in old Florida along the historic and tranquil Suwannee River.
*Please note that the house is on stilts with stairs and has no elevator or lift. For additional security there are three exterior cameras on the property. One faces the dock area, one towards the front gate, and the other the front door.

About the host
Hosted by Michael & Trang Daniel
We are a family of 4 and live full time in St. Petersburg, 3 hours south of the river. A few years ago we began exploring the various rivers in Florida, and fell in love with North Florida and the Suwannee River. The moment we stood on the back balcony and looked out over the Suwannee we new it was a great fit for our family. We love coming up to the River House every couple of weeks, and have been blessed to share it and the memories with friends as well.
Why they chose this property
This part of Florida has that "Old Florida" feel of which we Floridians speak so fondly. The lazy flow of the river resonates throughout the area. Life seems to relax and slow down. The locals are friendly and polite, and the hurried pace of the city does not seem to exist here.
What makes this property unique
There are two springs across the river from the house. Both are available to the public, however the property around them is private. The spring directly across from the house is Running Spring. Then approximately 100 yards down stream from that is Cow Spring. The crystal clear cold water is especially refreshing on a hot summer day.
