3BR 2BA Oceanside Cottage, Hot Tub, Short Walk to Beach

⫸ "Silver Girl" Rents Sunday- Sunday from June 7 to August 30.
(Three-night minimum stay, check-in any day of the week, all other times)

⫸ Professional home preparation, licensed biweekly hot tub service, bed linens (including freshly laundered coverlets), and 6 sets of bath towels are included in the nightly rate.)

This clean, bright cottage is perfect for a family or couples vacation. Located on a quiet street only two lots from the sand, Silver Girl has convenient private beach access leading over the dunes to a beautiful expanse of beach. Please note that the path from Silver Girl to the ocean requires walking inclines and declines on soft sand. Feel free to ask questions about our location and beach accessibility.

Silver Girl has plenty of space to gather in the open living room and dining area. The kitchen is well-appointed, and each bedroom has a flat-screen TV with streaming capability. A DVD library, games, and books are there for your enjoyment.

Take in the ocean breeze on the wraparound deck and unwind under the stars in the warmth and relaxation of the hot tub. The comfortable hammock invites an afternoon nap.

This pretty house is a wonderful place to stay AND play. Silver Girl is close to great surf spots and world-renowned Pamilco Sound kiteboarding destinations (only 0.5 mile from Real Watersports!) The Rodanthe Pier and miles of beautiful coastline await your angling enjoyment. Sunbathing, shell seeking, bird watching, and simply relaxing make for a lovely vacation.

A walk/bike path extends the length of the Rodanthe, Waves, and Salvo villages, leading past shops and restaurants from the Salvo Day Use Area to the skateboard park in Rodanthe.

▶ A community beach access leads on a path over the dune. The walk involves inclines and declines on soft, shifting sand. If you have any questions about beach accessibility, or the closest wheelchair-accessible beach access, don't hesitate to ask for details.

▶ WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE, which can be purchased through outside vendors. Hatteras Island is vulnerable to storms and electrical outages. Unfortunately, mandatory evacuations occur.

Nice place, very easy walk to the beach, and very convenient having beach chairs we could use for the week. Check in process was easy. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities needed for cooking, beds were comfortable, and even had some games and puzzles available. The street was very quiet, which was great. Could have stayed forever!

Such a quaint little cottage close enough to the sea to pop in and out all day. Loved getting our steps in by walking to the pier and enjoyed surf fishing in the early mornings. Private enough to enjoy quiet mornings on the deck, but close enough to restaurants to enjoy easy evenings for dinner.

This property was very clean one of the cleanest we've stayed at on Obx. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was very close to the beach. Just be aware that there is a steep dune to get over the beach, which was no problem for us and our small children, but might be harder for older individuals. The beds were comfortable, and there are lots of games, puzzles, DVDs and books to keep the family entertained. Would for sure come back! Also, the grill was great. Typically we have found grills are not usable at most rentals but this one was great.
