This cottage is so delightful, I highly recommend it and will definitely be staying here again. There was lots of room, everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout the house! Gorgeous location - the neighbours are close but it feels private. The lake is quiet and wonderful.

Hi Natasha,
Glad you and your family enjoyed your stay. Have a great summer! ~Amy
Beautiful and quiet setting. Even with neighbors fairly close, you did not hear their activities. We loved soaking up the fresh air and sunshine down by the pond. We took advantage of the available kayaks and paddle board. Amy was extremely attentive to and promptly responded to my emails. The cottage had everything we needed. We got a lot of exercise making the round trips between dock and cottage. FYI-from top deck/side entrance to cottage to the dock is 55 stairs. We didn't mind, but think twice if you have any mobility issues. Thank you Amy, for sharing your wonderful piece of heaven! We absolutely loved our time on McGrath Pond!
I recommend it totally. It is a really pretty lake. The house is well designed with wonderful views over the lake. Lake is very clean. Loons calling - amazing. Very nice deck - nicely landscaped - nice dock. Well appointed and stocked. More than we had even hoped for from description.
This was a great retreat to mark the ending of summer and beginning of fall for us. We enjoyed spending time on the water and the great deck with a perfect vantage point to read, grill, and catch up. Very peaceful and well appointed to enjoy the time on a lake in Maine with nice day hikes nearby as well.
Our stay was so relaxing and enjoyable! The camp was very nice and had everything we needed. It is on a steep hill and are many steps going down towards the lake but we actually enjoyed that bit of exercise....probably not good for older people
My family and pets loved staying on the lake....quiet, lots of loons to enjoy. Would definitely rent this place again!

Thanks Renee for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Have a wonderful summer. ~Amy
The owner reached out with full instructions for entrance into the camp. Very clean and well kept residence with beautiful views. Wildlife all around this tranquil setting
The house was exactly as in the pictures. McGrath Pond is a quiet lake with very little motor boat activity. We were even able to see a baby loon during our visit. (Thanks Amy for telling me where to look.) The house has a lot of stairs to get to the lake and a steep driveway to the house. This house may not be appropriate for a person with mobility issues. There is limited parking so not meant as a party house. Beautiful views and quiet location!
