Can’t write enough positives about this place and the hosts. Beautiful historic home with top notch amenities. Comfortable bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen with excellent appliances. Location couldn’t be better…beautiful quiet street away from bustle but walkable to everything one wants to see. Even better than shown online.
We had an awesome time. It's perfect for 6 people inside and out. The outside patio was beautiful and relaxing. It was outfitted well. Francis was a wonderful communicator and we went back and forth throughout the visit.
If you are planning on staying in Savannah and you want a clean, beautiful, convenient place you should stay here. The home is lovely and has everything you need - including your own off street parking! The hosts are proactively helpful. I’m sure you will be happy with your choice.
Very cute, historic apartment in a great location and on a beautiful street. Perfect to sleep 6 people in 3 beds and each room has their own bath. A little quirky with kitchen windows into the downstairs bedroom but the house was perfect for us. It’d be nice to be able to open windows for fresh air but other than that we’d recommend this short term rental. Thank you for having us, we enjoyed your pretty city and friendly people.

We were saddened to receive a 4 as we are accustomed to and do our very best to earn our years of 5 star reviews with local recommendations and quickest follow up when needed. Thr front historic windows french glass are from 1853. Pollen is very heavy and opening a window not recommended. To clarify for future readers, the home is not an apartment. It is a $1.8m 3 bdr home with courtyard in back as pictured featured in kast year's historic garden tour. . Please be sure to reach out to your host always if there are questions or needs during your stay. We're always available to ensure you have a wonderful stay. So happy you enjoyed the home built in 1853.
This was our 2nd time staying at the Richardson House. Convenient to all things we wished to see in Savannah with all the amenities leaving us to focus on our touring the city and return in evening to relax with all the comforts of home. Excellent communication with hostess Francis throughout the process from booking to the actual stay and preparation for checkout. Truly a professional
The home was beautiful, clean and in the perfect location. I would highly recommend this home for anyone traveling to Savannah wanting to enjoy the beautiful homes and surroundings.
Will definitely stay again. Location is walkable to everything. Home is beautiful and on one of most beautiful streets in America. Hosts have thought of every detail for a perfect stay!
The location and the property is very pretty. It was also wonderful having a large, pet friendly, place. Finally, the hosts are easy to communicate with, and they will answer all your questions.
This is a great place, located within walking distance of many sights. Parking in back was very handy, but street parking was easily available as well.
Beautiful area of Savannah. The house was clean, kitchen up to date. The owner went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Court yard was very comfortable and inviting.
This home was absolutely perfect for our Girls Weekend in Savannah! The house is beautifully set up with 3 spacious bedrooms — each with a king-sized bed — and 3 full bathrooms, which made getting ready so easy for all of us. The location could not have been better. We were able to walk everywhere, and definitely got our steps in while exploring the area! The neighborhood is stunning — full of charm and character — and we loved spending time in the gorgeous outdoor space to relax between outings. Francis and Emerson were wonderful hosts and made everything feel seamless. We would absolutely stay here again — highly recommend!
Can not fully describe how wonderful our stay with Francis and Emerson was. The house itself, well situated in Savannah proper, allowed for walking access to all the best restaurants along river street, quick trips to Forsyth park, or even nightly excursions to Leopold’s famous ice cream. Furthermore, the spacious king-sized rooms and wonderful back courtyard gave our vacation the sense of comfort and homeliness we were looking for.As far as the hosts, Francis and Emerson kept us well informed on all the best activities and restaurants during our stay so much so that it felt like having a tour guide of our own. They even kept us up to date on check-in and check-out procedures to ensure no confusion when entering/exiting the house.Again, felt extremely at home with this stay and I owe it to our wonderful hosts, Francis and Emerson. If you want to stay in Savannah and walk the Spanish moss lined streets, have a day trip to Tybee, or just hang out in a historic building all day, look no further than this property.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautifully maintained historic home on picturesque Jones St. It is located in a lovely residential area, walkable to everything. Communication with the owner was excellent. She provided a lot of helpful information and dining recommendations. If you want a true Savannah experience, this checks all the boxes!
Finally, a VRBO that not only met expectations, but EXCEEDED them. Beautiful home, well-decorated, comfortable in every way. Best street in town. Did not move cars during stay. Wonderful walks and occasional Ubers. Owners missed nothing on this place and provided superb suggestions. Clary's for breakfast is less than a block....unbelievable. What a delight!
