RUSTIC & CHARMING CABIN ON GROOM CREEK... NO EXTRA CLEANING FEES !!
A PERFECT WEEKEND ESCAPE FOR A COUPLE OR A FAMILY
NIGHTLY RATE WITH NO EXTRA CLEANING FEES!!
One of a kind cabin and property right on Groom Creek. This cabin was built in the 1950's and it's rustic charm is contagious. New tile flooring and nicely remodeled bathroom gives the cabin an update without losing it's warm and rustic feeling.
As you drive down the narrow lane and pass an old stagecoach, it is easy to start relaxing and leave your cares behind. Majestic pine trees and more as the seasonal creek is lined with lush vegetation and yellow columbines in the summer.
The flagstone terrace is the perfect place to sit back and bird watch or get a chuckle from watching the playful squirrels jump from tree branch to tree branch. There is a good chance you will even see a family of deer stopping for a cool drink from the creek. There is a picnic table and a propane grill for your use.
There are plenty of trails for hiking, mountain biking and quading within a few minutes walk from the cabin. A drive up Spruce mountain will give you a majestic view of the Bradshaw mountains and the Prescott area. After a hike to Goldwater Lake for some fishing or kayaking, you can return to the cabin for a relaxing nap on the large screened in porch.
An easy drive to the center of Prescott where there are always a variety of activities year round.. Sit and relax around Prescott courthouse, shop the antique and mom and pop shops, listen to great local bands, grab a bite in one of the many local eateries or taste the historic feel of Prescott along Whiskey Row.
We have had several guests celebrate special events such as birthdays, anniversaries and reunions at our place. This very special cabin and setting will give you many good memories to take home with you.
This is a perfect property for children to explore. But it is not child proof. All children need to be watched/supervised by an adult at all times.
Limit of one dog. One additional dog and an additional dog fee with approval of owner.
A dog cannot be left on property unattended unless crated and inside cabin.
Minimum 2 night bookings
Maximum 7 night booking
Our nightly rate of $149 is for up to 3 guests. Each additional guest is $10 per night for length of booking.
After being booked, no additional guests can be added without the owners approval.
If approved, an additional fee will be added and needs to be paid at least 2 days before arrival date.
A great rate is even greater with no extra cleaning fee added!!

About the host
Hosted by Pat and Joey Gregory
This beautiful piece of property was bought by my aunt and uncle in 1967. As a child I spent many memororable summers at the cabin and exploring the area. My husband and I purchased the property in 1997 and spent every weekend here until 2001 when we pulled up our roots in Phoenix and happily moved into this cabin. In 2005 we moved into our house which we built across the creek. Since then we have been offering our Groom Creek cabin through VRBO to others as a place to 'get away' and relax and enjoy this beautiful area as we have for so many years.
