The room wasn’t as I expected, the owner agreed to return the second day (that we didn’t stay for), then didn’t send or communicate with us after. I tried to text him back and he ghosted me. The towels had a foul odor, and the bed wasn’t supported properly.
It was nice! You don't have access to the full house; it's like a motel room where you get one room and a bathroom but I felt like that was a fine enough arrangement for the price.
This was a very convenient location and easy to find. The host was very responsive to texts and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. Note: there are a number of stairs to this upstairs unit.

Very clean, tastefully decorated and convenient location. Host was a 5 star.
We were so pleased with the apartment, nicely decorated, was clean, very comfortable, nice neighborhood, check in and out was easy. We will be back for sure.
This place was perfect! It's in a cool little neighborhood, about a mile from the beach. Very clean place, and the added touches of having paper plates and cutlery, coffee pot, and a water jug were really fantastic. Andy, the owner, was great to work with and asked several times if everything was ok. Will definitely stay here again!
Awesome girls weekend! Andy is a great host and property was perfect! Definitely, plan on coming back.

Nice, clean, up to date. Good bed, quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed watching the 4th of July fireworks at the boardwalk from the chairs on the deck outside our room.
We go to Fort Fisher so we did not need to be in walking distance so this was perfect. The room was very clean. The landlord very responsive although we never saw them (that was fine with us, we didn't need anything). The room was small but more than adequate.
We had a great weekend!

US Navy veteran, Retired Law Enforcement, and own a Charter fishing business which I have had for over 30 years.
Why they chose this property
Family owned and operated Tradewinds Motel in Kure Beach for over 40 years. When I decided to build a house I wanted to be far enough away from the ocean that I didn't have to worry about storm surges from Hurricanes. Also the beach front is very noisy during the season which is why I built in this quiet neighborhood. I can walk or ride a bike anywhere I need to go.
What makes this property unique
Large piece of property with room for parking boats, Jet skis etc,
