This place is an excellent location on the water. The kids loved the kayaks and being on the water. The kitchen had plenty of things to use as far as pots, pans, crockpot etc. My family is already asking if we can return.

The location is great and the lake access is awesome! The dock ladder was broken while we were there so that made getting out of the water more difficult. My only complaint was that the house needs a deep clean. The rental allows pets but there was a lot of left over dog hair from previous renters. On the floor, furniture and bedding.

House was cozy and had everything we needed! The lake was beautiful even in the winter. The kids enjoyed the blocks and puzzle and the closeness to Mammoth Cave National Park was perfect. Highly recommend.

Cabin was very well stocked and beautifully decorated, it was everything we needed for a quick weekend family getaway. Would consider coming back during summer as the lake looked lovely!

We enjoyed the view from the deck and the porch swing from this beautiful home. The beds were amazingly comfortable just like a high end hotel. There were only 2 paddles for the kayaks so we never got to use more than 2 at a time.

Nice place. Would like to have known lake was still in winter pool and diwn 10-15ft. Made docks and getting to the water unusable.

Hello, thank you for your review. Our listing does state that the lake is raised and lowered for flood control. Unfortunately we have no control of when the corp of engineers changes the level. But summer time is always the best to visit!

This house was nice. Plenty of space for our family gathering. And the beds were comfy. We enjoyed the deck space & outdoor firepit. The owners were very responsive and added a nice touch with a Christmas tree in the living room. Only downside was that The neighborhood was a bit odd.
