This little cabin was great over all. We were in the area for a wedding and it held our little family very well and comfortably. It was clean and well stocked.

Peaceful stay.

Recommended. We stayed August 2022 in this cozy cabin with a very relaxing atmosphere. Lots of deer to be seen. Sleeps up to 8, only one small bath but doable. Would stay again.

Clean Cabin

Went up north for the holiday weekend to go tubing down the Au Sable River. Cabin was very clean and suited our needs. The land is well maintained. Close to town so you can get some dinner and ice cream. Host responded well to texts and phone calls, but did not get the VRBO messages initially sent so I would stick with communication via the cell phone.

Very clean and cute! Owner was friendly and prompt in handling all of our concerns.Recommend to bring a fan or two in summer: the upstairs rooms were not air conditioned. Kitchen spices seemed a little old and pepper was not provided. Water pump doesnt keep up with a long shower and my teen-age daughter was taking a shower when the water stopped suddenly. After waiting a minute or so, water came back on. My husband and i did not have that isssue with our showers. Downstairs bed mattress was extra firm. Our stay was cozy and pleasant.

This is definitely an old country home for sure! And the host prefers to call and introduce you to the property. I would've preferred to have written instructions for when I got there, since I was travelling alone. However, he was very nice and lived up the road if you needed anything! Air, hot water, and fridge get turned off between guests, so prepare for that! The property is beautiful. There is a gorgeous Willow Tree within walking distance. I saw lots of wildlife! Lost a point from me because the smoke detectors were open and battery-less. I think they must've meant to change them and forgot.

Overnight fall color tour

Hard to get a hold of manager.. No key door was unlocked, we asked about is there a key we’re going to get dinner? No key just leave unlocked.. I always lock my doors … so I made my husband check the whole place out under beds too..the paved road was very loud at night. It had a fireplace but we were told it’s not ready to use. I believe it was rat poison on floors in cups. Water pressure was drippy. Coffee maker needs to be replaced it didn’t work very well. I would not stay here again.
