About the host
Hosted by Lauryn Carroll

Hi, we're Ryan and Lauryn! We split our time between Northern Michigan and Greenville, South Carolina, but no matter where we are, Loon Lake always feels like home. We love to travel, spend time with the people we love, and explore new places—but nothing compares to mornings on the lake, afternoons on the water, and evenings around the fire. It brings us so much joy to be able to share this slice of life with others, and we hope you enjoy your time here as much as we always do.
What makes this property unique
What makes our property truly special is the peaceful, natural beauty that surrounds it. You'll enjoy stunning views of Loon Lake from the cottage and deck, the soothing calls of loons at night, and a chorus of bird songs throughout the day. Wildflowers and ferns line the edge of the woods, adding to the charm, and the calm waters of the lake invite quiet reflection or gentle adventure. Though private and tranquil, the cottage is just a short drive from popular Michigan destinations, outdoor activities, and all the essentials you might need.
