A large group of us came from Michigan for the lions game! We had the best time. Steve and his business partner were very responsive. Even came right away to replace an outdoor TV for us to watch football from the heated pool!!!!! Such a fun unique home! It was a dream staying at a house with a pool on a lake! Highly recommended!
Our stay was excellent. The house was beautiful and perfect for our family of nine. It had plenty of space for everyone and plenty of in all the rooms. We especially loved the pool. When we were there it was 95 degrees so we spent alot of time in it. Loved the kitchen and the outdoor grill. The 2 refrigerators were great along with the ice machine. Steve was a great host. We've been doing this for over 12 years and this house was great! The area was beautiful also.We would come back again. Thanks Steve.
We rented this property to celebrate a retirement. The place was perfect for the celebration. The family enjoyed the games and the pool. Nothing but compliments from everyone who stayed and visited. People were already making plans to return next year. Excellent location and all of the value added items were appreciated. Pool toys were available as well as puzzles and games for all ages. Highly recommend this place.
We had a wonderful Family Reunion of 16 family members. The house was everything we hoped! The rooms were well spread around to have different activities going on at once. We really enjoyed the pool and boat. They were wonderful since we had a heat wave during our stay. The kitchen was great for preparing our meals. The view was wonderful with all the lovely sunsets,
Great place for anything you can imagine. Kids loved the pool and lake. Very spacious and could hold multiple families.

The facility was ok. It’s an odd layout that could work for some. The furnishings/seating inside and out were very dirty or in need of replacement. I was embarrassed to have my family see them. I had the owner pick up a dilapidated ottoman and I moved the kitchen stools to the laundry room during our stay. There were chairs on the street side that no one would sit in.The beds were clean and fairly comfortable but some of the bathrooms were very outdated, especially the main floor queen room. Some bedrooms lacked seating and the furnishings such as lamps and tables had a thrift store vibe. Not the end of the world but not what I expected for the price. The window coverings were in poor condition or non existent. The porch and the kitchen hovered above 75 degrees from 2 p.m.-sundown. It felt like the heat was on.One shade wasn’t operable and another fell off the rod during our stay. (We had to reroll it.)The pontoon boat was a success. The canoe however had a leak which was discovered about 50 yards off shore. We decided to skip the kayaks for that reason. The kids enjoyed the pool but one ended up with blue dye stains on her knees and tops of her feet from lifting herself out on the side of the pool. There were plenty of gathering areas inside and out except for the family which could have used another chair or two. Some of the outside wooden chairs are broken or need shoring up. The lawn care came on Saturday which seemed odd.
Great pet friendly property that accommodates a large family. Multiple indoor and outdoor spaces to relax together, private rooms with bathrooms, and a kitchen that can accommodate many cooks in the kitchen.
This was a really neat property. The layout of the house was very unique! Plenty of space for our family and we enjoyed the pool as well as the canoe and kayaks. The kitchen was updated and well appointed.
We could not have asked for a better place to stay! There was plenty of room, the pool and boat were amazing additions and could not have been happier with the home! The place was clean and inviting upon arrival and we did not have any problems whatsoever.
We had a fantastic stay! The house was perfect for our large family—plenty of space for everyone to have their own areas while still offering great spots to gather and spend time together. We absolutely loved having the option to use the boat, and the pool was a huge hit with everyone. We enjoyed it so much, we’ve already booked our trip for next year!
From the child’s play slide to the fishing gear to multiple crock pots to the heated pool, this host has thought of everything. Could have used a few more blankets or throws. It gets chilly at night in mid November. Loved our stay! This was a new location for our annual family reunion. We will be back!
Wonderful. Everything about this property is amazing. Beautiful and relaxing. We have a large family and there was plenty of space for everyone. We all enjoyed the lake, the pool, the gazebo, and the game room. We will definitely book this property again. Steve, the host, is great!
Left unoccupied for over 3 years, this Victorian bed and breakfast had gone from charming to eye sore. In 2017, we stumbled across this property and fell in love with it's quirky architecture. Once we learned that it had formerly been an award winning wedding venue and B&B, we knew we could save this house and allow generations of families to continue making memories at the lake.
