You can purchase additional passes directly at the center for an additional cost.
Interaction with guests
We do not live locally but we are available to answer any questions and are available by phone and email.
Other things to note
Winter- the road to the house has steep portions which can be tough during inclement weather. The roads are well maintained with regular plowing and sand. Cars with snow tires or all-wheel drive will have no issues.
For others we’ve had people park at the community center (super easy to get to for those with cars that struggle in the snow) and then the most suited car drives people the few blocks up the hill to the house.
There is enough parking for 2 cars in the driveway.

Nice house with a great Mountain View. Had a great time playing cards at the dining table while looking at the view of the sunset.

Great to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. The long range mountain views from the house is one of the main reasons why we love the house so much. Hopefully we can host you again sometime. Safe travels until then!
Loved the property. Very clean, plenty of room, comfortable sleeping arrangements. Right on the side of the mountain, beautiful view and still close to fun summer activities for the kids. We will be booking for next summer.
This ski house has everything you'd need. It's in a wonderful location (Waterville Estates). The bedrooms and bathrooms are all on the same floor and kitchen living space is open, feels spacious. Convenient location to the ski areas. Owner has excellent communication and the check in / out process was a breeze.

Our stay unfortunately did not meet all our expectations. There were a few cleanliness and functions issues we found with the home. Two of the stove top burners worked intermittently, one of which started sparking when turned on. The range hood was also soaked in grease and started dripping when turned on. The one ceiling light in the master bedroom did not function well, it either wouldn’t turn on or flickered continuously. We traveled with intentions of skiing at Waterville Estates. We arrived Sunday night with hopes of skiing Monday. Upon going to the base lodge, we found it was only open Friday-Sunday. Neither the online posting or welcome binder explained the limited hours. The views were still great and it was a nice area to visit. We found several nice restaurants in Plymouth.
Very nice little cabin. Pretty views of mountains. Cabin easily fit our family (mom and dad in master, and each college aged child in his/her own bedroom.) One bathroom is in the master and the other is shared by the two other bedrooms (both have tub/shower).
Tip to winter renters:
- Buy your Waterville Valley Ski Lift Tickets (cash or check) from the Waterville Estates Rec Center desk (this cabin is a member of the Estates). You'll save $32 per lift ticket!
- Pond ice skating at the rec center is not all that nice (ice is very bumpy, almost unskatable). Traditional indoor ice rinks are nearby.
- Rent skis at "Exit 28 Ski Rentals" (near Ski Fanatics, but cheaper and they had inventory when Fanatics was out)
the property and views were fantastic. The owner was very responsive and provided great recommendations for places to go in the area.

About the host

I am a midwestern transplant to New England and fell in love with the White Mountains from the first year I arrived. From hiking to boating it's just a great excuse to get away from the city and enjoy nature.
Why they chose this property
My wife's father passed after spending 30 yrs working in the same manufacturing plant. He never got the chance to hit his retirement nor spend much time with our newly born daughter (his first Grand Daughter). As a way for our daughter to experience her grandpa after his passing we purchased a cabin in the mountains that we knew he would have loved. This way our daughter can create experiences in the White Mountains knowing that her Grandpa is there with her. We have grown to call the place Bob's Landing for Grandpa Bob.
What makes this property unique
Surrounded by undeveloped 30 acre forest but still close to get to all the best places in the White Mountains. A truly unique spot.
