Cozy and convenient home in Big Lake

Cloud Nine Cottage is a charming home with many amenities that can sleep 8 (6 adults max), and most comfortably sleeps 4-5. This home includes a full kitchen, full bathroom, living room, laundry/utility room with storage space, game room, yard, and lots of parking! Bedrooms include two private bedrooms, one with a king size bed, and one with queen size bed. Also included is one studio style game room/flex bedroom with convertible twin furniture, queen air bed and twin air bed.

Pets stay free upon approval! 2 pets maximum. Approval before your stay check-in date date is required. There is a 25.00 pet free for guests who do not seek approval prior to checkin or clean up dog droppings from the yard prior to departure.

The cottage is located in the heart of Big Lake Town to enjoy activities while staying close to amenities and easy highway access.

We strive to make your stay feel like home with extra amenities and attention to detail.

Sweet little cottage

Always wonderful

We have stayed here multiple times and it’s one of our favorite places!!! Has everything we could need and we love the space and location. Managers communicate great and it’s a great place for kids.

Awesome location in the heart of Big Lake!

Amazingly kid friendly! Our boys had fun inside with all that is available. It was an easy transition from their space and routine. We loved it!

Perfect for Hockey Tournaments

Near the rink and comfortable. The kids loved the game room and being able to be close for a 6:45 am game.

The house was comfortable with lots of room. However there were a couple of items that needed attention.The front door was misaligned or warped so it took unusual effort to close.Both of the mattresses needed replacement as they sagged in the middle.

Good place to stay

Property was good. The host were super easy and very accommodating. I personally not a fan of the lay out of house but it was good place to stay. House color does not match the online picture which was confusing but easy to find. I would stay again.

Great place

Our stay was a great experience, comfy, quiet, clean. The hosts go above and beyond with an offering of a deck of cards, lots of board games, snacks, etc. My one frustration was having to pay for insurance for a one evening stay. This increased the price more than 25%.

Super cute Big Lake rental option

Will definitely look into staying again when needing somewhere in Big Lake. Only complaint is non optional damage deposit. It was just my mom and I and we were at the property only about 12 hours due to activities we were in town for, no chance to damage anything and still had to pay.

Cozy Family Stay

We had just moved to AK from the lower 48, and the host was very wonderful about our pets joining us, of course with us cleaning up after them. The housekeeper and host were understanding when we needed a little more time to get our numerous suitcases and family loaded up past the check-out time to move-in to our new home. The home is extremely family friendly, the children loved the chalk board wall, and the games for them to play. Thank you, again! Highly recommend.

Comfortable, convenient and clean!

We rented this VRBO as we were in Big Lake for a wedding. The place was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen with lots of other great features. The master bed was very comfortable, laundry facilities, Keurig and also a regular coffee maker. Shower had great water pressure. It was close to the grocery store, which was very convenient. The owners are very responsive and helpful. One thing to remember is to turn on the lights before walking through the living room to the bedroom, which is a step down, which we didn't see in the dark. So, just watch your step. (It is all in one big room.) Some traffic noise due to the house being next to the roundabout on the main stretch of road. We enjoyed our stay and loved all the games that were available. Perfect getaway

This property was the perfect for our visit to see family in Alaska. The property was very clean, spacious, had laundry and supplies, and even provided coffee and a few snacks. We traveled with a 5 month old and they had a pack and play and high chair that were very clean. They also had some game systems for older children. It was close to a store, restaurants, and a gas station. There were only a few negatives that didn’t affect our trip but might be helpful to point out while you search for your perfect place. First the house is at an intersection (roundabout). It was a very quiet road with very little traffic but is still close to a road. The other was one of the beds is out in the living area (it is pictured that way as well). There is another bed and a sleeper sofa in two separate areas, but depending on the amount of people in your party the bed out in the living area has no privacy and is next to the bathroom door. It worked for our group but something to consider when booking. Otherwise this place again was VERY clean and spacious! We definitely wouldn’t mind staying there again!

GRANDPARENTS FROM LOWER 48

THIS IS EXACTLY THE WAY TO GO!!! It is so hard to visit the grandkids and when we have stayed in Anchorage hotel (ing) it. Putting families up dealing with other people. This place is definitely the way to go. Open space to visit, cook, and chill. Thank you

So Cozy

This property was one of the cleanest we have stayed in. The owners were very accommodating. My kids loved the chalkboard ; the entire property was very kid friendly and they had baby proofing available too! Next time we are in the area we will definitely try to rent again!

Felt like home

Alicia is a great host, the place is clean, warm and comfortable. There is coffee and tea there to make in the kitchen and complimentary snacks on the table to welcome your arrival. I could not of ask for a better place to stay in Big Lake very near to where I wanted to be. Hopefully, it’ll be available the next time we come to town.

Great place to relax

The place was easy to find, just hard to locate the driveway with snow on the ground. Alicia contacted me and helped me find it though and explained someone took their markers. Other than that it was great. Perfect spot to watch tv and play games with friends. Recommend 100%

Love this place

We love our blue big lake house....as my kids would call it!!! More than enough room, great setup, awesome games and activities and our first time staying with no snow so the yard was a plus. Owners are great and so quick to respond to any needs. Our top favorite weekend getaway home with everything we need. Always our top pick when in the area.
