The place was outstanding literally only needed your toothbrush! The host were very friendly and checked in with us more then once to make we had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the recliners a huge bonus! I would definately stay there again!
The place was perfect for us!Great location, near family and stores, but quite and cozy at night. Would recommend this wonderful guest house to any other family.
Very nice house. Nice to have a good variety of cooking equipment so we could fix meals. Also nice that there were books and games available. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Location was perfect for our stay. Home is very clean and secure with a fenced private area. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and linens were great quality. Excellent overall experience, thank you!
Julie and Jim were very welcoming. They provided really useful responses to our questions before our arrival and left a great resource book with directions and suggestions. But most of all, they have created a very comfortable space with everything we might need during our stay. The space was very clean and well layed out. Thanks so much, we really enjoyed our stay.
This guest house is a gem of a property! Clean, well-cared for, exactly as pictured and described. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking - from pots and pans to spices. Quiet neighborhood, 15 minutes to downtown. Wonderful stay!
House was immaculately clean and there were special touches to welcome us. Host was more than accommodating, with excellent communication and help with suggestions on what to see and during our stay. Kitchen was very well stocked and everything we wanted to see and do was with 15 minutes. We will definitely be back!
This place was perfect for 4 people. We had a geat mini-vacation with in Portland. The location was central to everything we wanted to do and after a long day of hiking and adventuring out it was a great place to come home to.
My daughter and I loved staying here as we took day trips to look at colleges and explore different areas of Portland. The owners were kind and responsive. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
Julie and Jim are lovely hosts and the “tiny house” is in fact spacious and beautifully appointed.

About the host

We are two educators with a high school daughter. We purchased our home in 1996 and love this neighborhood. We recently took the leap and built this accessory dwelling unit-ADU in our backyard. It has turned out to be a beautiful and welcoming space. We look forward to hosting our guests.
