About this space
This beautiful apartment features everything you need to enjoy Portland like a local in the heart of the popular Laurelhurst neighborhood. Enjoy a gourmet kitchen, 2 comfortable bedrooms, shared backyard, safe, quiet street and easy access to public transit.
The space
Newly built garden-level apartment is clean bright, and cozy and offers a gas fireplace, heated floors, and most every comfort of home. Many amenities and entertainment options such as board games, puzzles, cable and great Internet connection for work. Coffee to get you going in the morning. Lots of hot water for your showers or soak in the deep tub. You also have a private laundry room. Guests also have access to the shared, fenced-in backyard that has a covered patio, dining set, grill, fire pit table heated throws and room for the little ones. A pack-and-play is set up for our littlest guests, in their private space off the main bedroom.
Guest access
Private side entrance. Street parking is a breeze. Electronic lock entrance allows easy access, so arriving at anytime is a breeze. The code is sent a couple days before your arrival.

If no other guest is coming or going on the days that you arrive and check-out then we can be extremely flexible on check-in and check-out times. Just touch base with us to find out! However, if we need to accommodate another guest then we need to limit check-in time to as early as 3pm and check-out time to as late as 11am. This allows us to be able to turn around the apartment to our exacting standards of cleanliness, which we know people appreciate.
Other things to note
If you like the outdoors we are between 2 huge beautiful parks! Laurelhurst Park is a few blocks away and has a great playground in addition to walking/biking paths around a beautiful pond with ducks. If you feel like a hike, Mt Tabor Park has an easy, moderate and difficult trails to choose from--we have a map.

If you have a little one with you that does not require a bed, they do not count towards our 4 guest maximum. We have a binder FULL of information to help you enjoy your stay!

In case is raining there's umbrellas for your convenience!

Smoking is allowed on our cozy, covered patio! It is open till 10pm for visiting, because of noise ordinance.
You are welcome to visit/ barbque with a small group friends or family on the patio, with permission, till 10 pm!

This was the perfect landing spot for us during my visit to Portland. Their place is very comfortable with all of the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and having our morning coffee. The beds were quite comfortable. The shared laundry area was perfect for us to be able to throw in a quick load before we left to continue our travels. The neighborhood was wonderful and quiet yet still close to shops, dining, a beautiful hike around Mt. Tabor. Communication with our hosts was easy.

Great local find for us! Easy to travel into the heart of Portland. The home owners were very communicative and friendly and made check in and check out a breeze. It was a quick stay so we didn't get to take advantage of the backyard or grill, but we would 100% stay here again on a more leisurely trip.

Perfect for families! Stayed with our 5 and 2 year old and they had a blast. The house is stocked with books and toys, plus a pack and play ready to go- which our 2 year old was able to use. The unit has everything you need. Kym and Ed were extremely welcoming, friendly and communicative. Will absolutely stay here again when we come back!

Very quiet residential neighborhood but close to a large number of restaurants and bars. Less than 10 minutes from Hawthorne Ave., east of Cesar Chavez Ave. is almost all places to eat and have fun. We also thought street parking might be an issue but we never had to park any further than one house down. Portland is known for its world class public transportation so really no need to drive, especially if you are going downtown. Well stocked and great laundry facilities. Kym and Ed are extremely accomodating and are just plain good people. We would definitely come back.

Why they chose this property

This is such a great community with wonderful neighbors. It's close to 2 beautiful parks and is quiet and peaceful. Yet it is so walkable to shops and food carts.
We have lived here for nearly 40 years and feel blessed to call this home!

What makes this property unique

We enjoy hosting young families and try to provide everything needed for them. If Grandma and Grandpa stay here, grandkids are welcome to visit! Of course we are located in a hip area that has alot to offer, all ages!
