Offering lake views, a private beach, dock access, and an outdoor firepit, this is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the tree-lined beauty. The family dogs (two maximum) are also welcome to join you for an additional nightly fee.

Nestled on the banks of Moosehead Lake about six miles from central Rockwood, you'll have hiking and ATV trails at your fingertips, and world-class fishing and fly fishing in your backyard. The pebble beach is a mere 20 feet away, and the lake is great for swimming.

Crafted wood accents and a casual ambiance set the tone for your relaxing stay. Unplug from the daily grind and enjoy a book out on the deck, or dip your toes in the lake out on the dock. Cook up your fresh catch in the well-appointed kitchen and then grab your marshmallows for a campfire under the stars.

The perfect spot for a couple of friends to enjoy a fishing trip, or a getaway for a small family, this lakeside New England home is waiting to host your next retreat.

Very tranquil camp with friendly neighbors who respected our privacy. Gorgeous view of the lake with kayaking potential right in front of the cabin. Our dog friend was happy and relaxed. Brand new sharp knives were impressive for two people who love to cook! Really nice being able to grill. Everything we could need was supplied. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The cabin was neat and clean. We were very comfortable. Thankful for the 2 small fans. It was very warm one of the days. Beautiful view. So quiet. Enjoyed sitting out on the dock and making a fire. Nice to have the little beach area. We did take a dip.

Poor communication to guests, expensive service fees.

Although the area is just beautiful, and some things we did really enjoy, such as: private dock, stunning views, fire pit, and rustic cabin... the communication/questions from Vacasa about the rental before arrival was very misleading. I was told there was NO heat in cabin, when there was. I was told there was no grill for outdoor use, and there was one on porch for guests to use. The inside of cabin was not that clean, we found popcorn on chairs and floor, a mildew shower curtain, and dirty dishes in cabinet. The service fees are outrageous. The cost of two nights was doubled with service fees.

Lovely cabin in the woods!

And who doesn't need that? The space was beautifully arranged and comfortable for two. I had made the assumption that there was a TV and wifi but there wasn't. Turned out to be great and peaceful. The distance from the cabin was not far which is good because we have some mobility issues. I went swimming and the water was lovely!

The views were amazing! Sitting at the table for a meal and looking out on moosehead was just wonderful. Waking up from a comfortable night sleep to cool crisp air was just what we needed. Highly recommend this location. The check in process was a bit confusing since there was a lock box with a code but calling Vacasa the reps were very helpful and got me the code right away. Other than that the stay was great!

Peaceful and Scenic

Our stay was amazing! It was such peaceful and scenic property! The cabin was a little smaller than it appeared in the pictures but it was plenty big for the two of us. We couldn’t imagine a more beautiful place to spend our honeymoon. Everyone was so friendly and helpful from checking in, to allowing us to check out early due to a family emergency! Would recommend this place to everyone!!

Last year we rented the Sandbar Cabin next door for a week, and we decided on renting this one this year. There's only the two of us and two dogs, so we didn't need multiple bedrooms. The gravel beach is great for swimming, the firepit right on the water is beautiful, and the dock was perfect for our little 16' boat. We didn't spend a lot of time inside, but the camp was cozy, clean, and perfect for our needs. Highly recommended.

The location was terrific! We can't say enough about the dock, where we spent several afternoons enjoying the sun shine and peace and quiet. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The heating system was appreciated on cool mornings, but a bit of instruction letting us know we needed to turn it on early in order to warm the space would have been helpful. The only negative we can think of is the size of the bathroom. Very clean with plenty of hot water, but not easy to turn around in there.
