Even the interiors have enjoyed a substantial restyling, played on the splendid brightness and warm colors of the wood.
In its 90 sq m this special holiday home can comfortably accommodate 4 people. Using the sofa bed in the lounge also 6, but above all it gives you the experience of living at the center of an exhibition. Every month the exhibitions of some of the most interesting artists of the area will alternate on the walls of the house. An exhibition reserved exclusively for those who live in the home, in an ever new and stimulating environment, having the opportunity to get in touch and get to know the artistic scene of the city of Syracuse and beyond. It should be noted that the fittings are exclusive for the home and for the guests of the home. Access to strangers is not foreseen.

Description
The apartment is divided into a study entrance with a foldaway bed, a bedroom with a large walk-in closet, a lounge with two large windows that give access to the balcony and a kitchen, complete with oven and fridge / freezer. The bathroom, with a walk-in shower, is dominated by a large window.
It is equipped with an A / C air conditioning and independent heating system, 42 "LCD TV, free WiFi connection.
It is equipped with dishes, pimples, duvet, blankets, sheets, pillows and towels.

ACCESS TO GUESTS
Guests will have access to all areas of the apartment, including the balcony and the adjacent terrace, which can be used to hang laundry. At home there is a ban on smoking!

ORTIGIA
The absolute merit of living in Ortigia, consists in being able to completely turn it on foot or by bicycle and at the same time be able to take advantage of shops of all kinds, shops, banks, post offices, fruit and vegetable market, bar, tobacconist's, taxi, car hire, etc. In short, we sleep all the activities of the city enclosed within the neighborhood. You can also enjoy a wonderful sea view. Let's not forget that Ortigia is an island and it is possible to swim and / or sunbathe on the solarium, or take a boat trip admiring the splendid profile of the city from the sea! It is the historic center of the city of Syracuse and is registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It houses most of the wealth of the city:
the Piazza del Duomo with its cathedral, the temple of Apollo, the Maniace castle, the Aretusa spring, the Bellomo museum, ...), the picturesque streets full of Baroque palaces and churches, full of bars (bars, ice cream parlors, pubs, restaurants), the characteristic market, the Jewish baths, the Hypogeum.

A TOUR IN THE SURROUNDINGS
In Ortigia there is the bus terminal (150mt from home) from which you can reach all destinations in the city and the train station. Also near the station buses leave for other destinations of cultural interest (Noto, Taormina, Modica, Ragusa Ibla etc ...).
There is a covered public parking (300mt from home) and taxi service (100mt from home) bus stop (50m from home).
Within 100/200 meters from the house you can reach: Sea (solarium), Piazza Archimede, La Giudecca, Piazza Duomo, Palazzo Bellomo regional gallery, Montevergini contemporary art gallery, the Fish and fruit market. Possibility to rent bikes / scooters / cars. Excursions by boat and sailing boat (300 meters)

HOW TO REACH US
From the Syracuse railway station it is possible to reach the apartment in less than 20 minutes on foot or you can use the shuttle bus that leaves near the railway station and get off at the Via Maestranza stop.
From Catania airport you can reach Syracuse both by taxi and with the various suburban bus lines (in particular the line: Interbus). Catania airport is about 50km from Syracuse (50 minutes by car)
By car: From Catania take the A18 / E45 motorway towards Lentini-Carlenti-Augusta-Siracusa then continue on S. S. 114 Catania-Siracusa (Orientale Sicula), exit 'Siracusa Sud', after refueling with 'Agip' petrol.
From the South / Ragusa: From the S. S. 115 exit at 'Siracusa Sud' and continue straight to the island of Ortigia.


OTHER THINGS TO HIGHLIGHT
The house has wifi system for internet connection and the use is free, the password will be provided to guests upon check-in.
The peculiarity of the house is given by the fact that it hosts temporary exhibitions of young artists from our area and beyond, in fact, guests will be able to enjoy them exclusively during their stay. Upon request, you can have all the information concerning the artist and the works on display.

HOUSE RULES
The house rules are those imposed by good manners and mutual respect.
Pets would normally not be allowed but can be discussed on occasion. It is forbidden to smoke in the house but it is possible to do it on the balcony and in the adjacent outdoor spaces.
