We skied at Big Sky with our two teens and their friend. Great location close to slopes and stores. House was as described and was a great landing place for us.
We had a great week of skiing for skiers and other fun stuff for non-skiers (snowmobiling, dog sledding, hiking). House was clean and well maintained with lots of room. Plenty of kitchen space to cook at home and easy access into town for restaurants when we went out. Host was great with quick responses and a comprehensive guide with recommendations and such.
Our family of 4 had a perfect ski week. Well appointed home, very comfortable. More space than we needed. Loved the wood burning stove and hot tub. Explored skiing Big sky and xc West Yellowstone riverside trail.
Overall good place to stay, good indoor and outdoor areas for conversation and relaxing.

Just a correction to the above review, as per the listing, there is no AC in the entirety of the house. Which is quite the norm here in Big Sky as we're blessed with cool evenings to let the fresh air in.
We'll get on the skillet and let the cleaning crew know about the stove stop and coffee maker. Thank you Frank!
Tim was a host quick with responses possessing a manner of helpfulness in every way. His home is one that offers much comfort and spaciousness for all to gather surrounded in lovely decor. Everything one would need, you supply only your food and drink. A lovely home. I would return without question.
Wonderful Big Sky experience and great location for Yellowstone daytrip
I stayed here with my family including my husband, 2 kids, my parents and sibling. It was a perfect size for all of us to have our own space but still have time together in the main living space. We did multiple day trips from the home including to Yellowstone and Idaho. Perfect location to access the activities at Big Sky - the town center is just 1 mile away with great community activities, downhill mountain biking at the Big Sky Resort, white water rafting just down the road, and hiking literally a walk down the street, just to name a few of the summer activities. We would absolutely stay at Tim's home for our next trip to Big Sky.
Owner was excellent- great communication, quick responder and very friendly. House was very tidy cozy but had a couple little problems which I’m sure will be addressed but couldn’t be repaired while we were there bc handyman was out of town for holiday. Weather was very cold so floors were pretty cold too only heated floors could have fixed that when temps were single digits and below. I would recommend staying here—it has everything you need and is very clean and tidy with a great location in the Meadow.
Everything about our stay was perfect. Communication was fantastic from the beginning. The house is in a nice neighborhood and is beautiful and clean. The town of Big Sky is also really cute. It’s an easy drive to Yellowstone.
Our favorite thing was the view from the patio. Most relaxing spot ever and the photos don’t do it justice. We can’t wait to go back and I would highly recommend everything about this property.
Great location with good quality amenities. Clean. Excellent family friendly layout. We enjoyed our stay here- the views were spectacular. Ousel falls is a beautiful trail nearby, in addition to big sky and Yellowstone attractions. Heat is self controlled but upstairs gets warmer than downstairs. Plenty of blankets and towels to stay cozy!
A beautiful property, very comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped. Great location - very convenient to town and a very quick drive to the mountain for skiing - no trouble with traffic. Highly recommend this rental, Tim was very nice!
This was a perfect property for my family to stay in on our recent trip to Big Sky. It was clean, well stocked and organized. We rented bikes for our three kids and wanted to be close enough to the town center and the local municipal park When they host Camp Big Sky and this location worked extremely well. The owner was responsive and couldn’t have been warmer and more helpful when we needed a few things. We were sorry to leave and would absolutely stay there again.
My family of six had a wonderful time at this lovely home in Big Sky. Home was great, owner interaction was as well. Great (and beautiful) location convenient to Big Sky shopping area, restaurants, mountain and hikes. Would stay here again if we visit Big Sky again. Thanks for a great stay!
Nice house with good layout near many outdoor activities and restaurants. Master bedroom door to hot tub doesn’t have any window coverings was the only negative plus the listing says house sleeps 9 but contract says 8 max.
The property was perfect for celebrating the new year with friends. The Meadows location is great as it is convenient to the markets and restaurants — and still relatively close to skiing. Tim was also very responsive.
We particularly enjoyed the large common area with TV and wood burning stove — which made for a great apres ski hangout. The bedrooms also met our needs well — with a master and guest room downstairs — as well as two bedrooms (including bunk room) upstairs.
We would definitely stay here again.
We are a family of 5 and had plenty of room. The Meadows are a short distance to the town center, the resort, and the highway. We took a day in Yellowstone. Close to great restaurants. Love the wood stove, the hot tub, and the Chrsitmas tree! Thanks Tim and family for letting us use your wonderful mountain getaway.
The house is well located and near hiking trails. We cooked all our meals at the house, which is a short drive to a local grocery. The hot tub is awesome!

Quintessential Montana home centrally located with expansive views!
We love this house! We look forward to our annual trip to Big Sky and stay in this home every year. The house is nestled at the base of the mountains and offers expansive views in all directions. The location is perfect and only a few minutes away from delicious restaurants, coffee shops, ski shops, groceries, and much more. The resort itself is just a short distance up the road and the drive offers sweeping panoramas that pump us up for a day on the mountain!
The house is quintessential Montana with a modern twist using primarily wood and stone throughout. The decor is exactly what you would expect in a mountain home and balances the open floor plan making it perfect for family and friends to spend time eating and drinking while sharing stories of the days adventures. The modern kitchen is well equipped and includes a gas range for cooking, a must for all who love to cook. A rustic wood burning stove adds to the ambiance. Of course no cabin would be complete without a hot tub that is just steps away.
The master bedroom is downstairs along with another bedroom, and there are more rooms upstairs perfect for kids with ample bedding. Don’t miss the coolest thing in the house upstairs...a picture showing all the ski resorts in the country!
Don’t worry about connectivity as there is WiFi throughout and ample parking space in the garage.
Most importantly, Tim and his wife Dierdra are incredibly gracious hosts who are easy to contact and are always available to offer suggestions and ensure you have an experience that will have you coming back for more.
I highly recommend this house without any reservation and we will be coming for years to come!

Fantastic rental, upscale home with great space for friends and family to gather
This is a lovely home and a perfect place for summer or winter activities. The kitchen and common living space on the first floor is warm and inviting and a wonderful place for all to gather. It was a real treat to cook in the kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious and the duvets and linens can’t be beat! We really liked the location. It was an easy eight minute drive to the base of Big Sky for skiing. We felt the proximity to town for evening dining enhanced our experience. Definitely 5 stars! You won’t regret staying here for your Big Sky vacation.

About the host
Hosted by Tim S
We are a family of 5 that love Big Sky! We feel so blessed to own our little piece of heaven. We bought it for the winters, but we've come to learn the summers are probably more fun!
Why they chose this property
We love the location in the meadow. It allows our family a lot more flexibility than being on the mountain. We can easily bike into town or ski on the trails for dinner with our kids in summer. In winter, we sled on the golf course across the street and at the park 0.5 miles away. Also, the nordic trails are right out the front door and we routinely XC ski right up to Lone Mountain Ranch which also has a wonderful bar and grill! We also absolutely love the tranquility of the protected green space behind our home. It's our heaven!
What makes this property unique
Our property stands out because of the location and the comfort the home provides. Enjoy ample space for relaxation and entertainment with an open-concept floor plan, high ceilings, and large windows that flood the home with natural light. Take advantage of world-class amenities including hiking trails, skiing slopes, golf courses, and fishing spots, all within close proximity.
