The place was very cute and very comfortable. Little bit older so kind of had an older smell to it however a candle helped that right away. I would definitely stay again. It was very comfortable and the host was very responsive. A little difficult to get to as in you have to go through a back alley, and the sign was hard to see at night. There is a front portion of the house that someone else lives in and the back portion of the place is the rental.
This was the perfect place for our visit - clean, comfortable, well stocked and very responsive host. We felt right at home and would definitely stay here again.

This place is a great place to stay when visiting the Garden of the Gods. Nice neighborhood to walk a dog around as well. It is a little tricky to find at night, so try to get there before sunset.
The house was very comfy and very clean I love that there was a fan.Would love to come back one day.love the sky lights to didn’t have to use any lights until it got dark We were even allowed to check in a little earlier

Thank you for your wonderful review! I'm thrilled to hear that you found the house comfy and very clean. We would love to welcome you back one day for another stay.
It was a quiet area a short drive to a lot of nice places to visit. Clean and comfortable with the exception of limited air conditioning.
We would have rated it a 5-Star if the air conditioning had been better.

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the peaceful location and found our property clean and comfortable. We appreciate your input regarding the air conditioning, and we'll certainly look into improving this aspect for future guests' comfort.
Great stay, the only complaint I will make is about the smell of the BNB. Faint smell of animals(I do know you accept animals). Other than that the stay was great!
This was a very central location in a fairly quiet neighborhood. The neighbors have chickens and couple roosters. The first morning the roosters woke up around 8, the next day though, I didn't hear them, so not a nuisance in any way. Perfect for our quick weekend stay!
Good for what we needed. We had a few issues at first but the owner was quick to work on the fixes. This was our second stay here mainly because of the ability to bring our dog. We did bring extra fans because in the summer it gets uncomfortable inside without central air conditioning.

Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay with us again! We appreciate your feedback on the issues you encountered. We understand the importance of accommodating pets, and we're glad our property met your needs. Your input regarding the fans during the summer is noted, and we hope to continue providing you with a comfortable and enjoyable stay for your future visits.
Close to everything we wanted to do. Close to hiking trails and prime 25 (if you stay here go eat there. It’s AMAZING) there were issues with the remotes but easily figured out. Like that this place was dog friendly but seemed like it doesn’t get thouroughly cleaned after each visitor. Since we have dogs we felt right at home though lol. Over all a great stay and a great place.

We hope that you had a great time staying at our place. All the best for you!
This quaint little place is blocks from my sons house, which makes it very convenient for us. We had some challenges because it had been downpouring all day and night during our first day and I really stressed over containing mud. We ended up bringing two entry rugs in. Overall very quiet and quaint.

Thanks for sharing your feedback, Leslie. Take care!
Our getaway to visit with family and friends included our first time experience in an VRBO property.
We were not disappointed, the accommodations were just as described and met our needs perfectly. We were able to travel with our small pet and he was comfortable too!
Communication with our host was free-flowing, accurate and pertinent. The DACK app for check-in and amenities was very helpful. Through that app I located a nearby massage therapist…… Another great experience!
The price point for this property was spot on.
It was a great location with close access to freeway travel, shopping, and tour spots.
Thank you Lloyd and staff for hosting us and making it all possible.

It’s decent
The space is very cute! It had everything we needed for our 4 night stay with our two fur babies. The kitchen is well stocked and there were plenty of paper products, towels and soap for our entire stay.
The downfall was the cleanliness of the floors. We could tell as soon as we walked in they hadn’t been swept or mopped. There were cleaning products available so I did that part on my own. There are also a ton of cobwebs and spiderwebs all around the entrances.
This place is very adorable and we would recommend staying there. I’m sure the owner would have taken care of the cleaning had we asked, but it was easier just to handle it on our own.

Started rocky and got worse.
The mixup with checkin. Then walked in to a cat pee smell that never went away (let the host know and they did say they would get a cleaning company to come out mid way through the stay).
Cleaning was needed.
Circuits popped and the electrical box was definitely not up to code.
I asked the family what they would give it for a rating and no one gave it above a 4 out of 10.
Lots of potential but nowhere near the previous Vrbo stays.

So sorry you did not have a good experience at our home. We have definitely taken a look at your concerns and had the electrical looked at. Again, so sorry the home was not up to par during your stay.
I really had no complaints about the property or home. There are some folks that note it is kind of hard to get to, but if you realize it's a duplex and the driveway to the back half of the property goes through a little alley way, then it makes more sense. There are postings and arrows to guide you in, so that really helps. The home is a duplex and has a shared wall. We didn't really hear any noise from the renters in the front. We heard their dogs bay (not bark) from time to time, but it wasn't an issue at all. I would say though of note that there is a fence on both sides of the house that separate the yards and each fence has a gate that is accessible from both sides.
The kitchen was a bit small, but it more than made up for it in cookware and spices. Blender, crockpot were also available. You won't need for anything in this kitchen to cook with at all. It was extremely well stocked.
The house was super tidy as were the yard spaces. Outdoor seating in a few locations was nice too. We did not use the grill, but it might be worth mentioning that it is propane, so you won't need charcoal. A big bonus was being able to see the hot air balloons during the Labor Day balloon festival taking place sailing by the window.
The neighborhood had some great restaurants in a close distance.
The living spaces are well lit with lots of natural light and just very comfortable. The bedroom was super roomy as well and had a desk space as well.
Thanks for the stay!

The first 24 hours there were many problems.
There were many issues that could have been avoided had someone informed us.
1. The house is in a good location geographically, but getting to the actual house was strange and difficult and we didn’t feel safe (probably because of all the tiny turnoffs to get into the driveway.)
2. When we used a hairdryer in the bathroom it would trip the breaker and shut off power to that part of house. You need to know the breaker box is behind the bed in the little closet thing.
3. The power outlets in the kitchen don’t work!!!! Except for the one beside the refrigerator. We waisted a hole crock pot meal on the 1st day (because it didn’t cook) which was very inconvenient since we got home late from a long day out.
4. Check the kitchen table chairs before you sit in them. My mother almost fell because the legs were so loose on one.
5. The living room table top slides right off the bottom if you bump it or push it. So be careful what you put on the table.
6. It’s really hot there during the summer. We had to go buy another fan and an air mattress so we could all sleep closer to the window unit which is only in the bedroom.
7. There was no lock on outside trash can so we had to pick up trash in the mornings that was drug out by animals in the night.
I will say we adjusted to the house after the first terrible 24 hours, and these things could have all been avoided if things had been communicated beforehand.
Many of these issues can be easily corrected as well.
I want to give some positives too.
Check in was easy, the house does cool off during the summer starting around midnight, The house was stocked well with sheets, and towels. The washer and dryer are small but work great. The refrigerator and kitchen appliances were clean. The house looked clean. The decor is decent and we enjoyed the smart tv in the living room so we could watch Netflix. The house was in a very quiet, inactive neighborhood, and it was so close to so many great locations. I would recommend a stay in this house I think, but just be aware of the problems others have experienced so that you are prepared.
