Building and staff were great. Roof top pool was amazing. Cleaning folks did a fantastic job. Location of building is convenient with many great dining options within walking distance. Unit is dated and is in the far corner from the beach. It does not overlook the beach. Window coverings are space so sleeping in can be tough. Kitchen has decent amenities but again it is very dated. I would definitely consider the building again but probably not this unit.

We had a great time staying at the condo that is right on top of the La Palapa restaurant. John was a great host and the condo is at the prime location to just get down and bask in the beauty of nature. Maid service is available on all weekdays and the front desk provides great security as well.

Nice place.

We really enjoyed our time here. It was a location on the side of the building with quite a bit of street noise, but that was reflective of the price. I have stayed in this building many times and love the location.

Perfect Location

Loved our stay at the la Palapa condo. Enjoyed sitting on the deck with the view of the water and mountains to one side and overlooking the city streets on the other. We spent a lot of time at the rooftop heated pool, which had a great view of the city and Bay. The place was perfect for two couples. Good communication with the owners who gave us some good tips on restaurants to eat at.

A Perfect Week!

Everything was bright and clean. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect. Our daughter absolutely loved the rooftop pool. We spent many evenings on the balcony enjoying the street scenes. Highly recommend, we will be back!

We stayed over the New Year’s holiday and had a wonderful time! Nice view of the ocean or the street from the balcony. Wonderful view from the rooftop pool to watch whales, fireworks, or the sunset.Cleaning service 6 days/week. Full kitchen so you don’t have to go out for every meal. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable wonderful Condo

This is a perfect property in a the great La Palapa Condo building. A very at home feeling of comfort, everything you might need including a full kitchen. The master bedroom has a beautiful ocean view and at night were to see the fireworks from the comfortable kings size bed. We had an amazing housekeeper named Araceli who keep the condo clean from the beds to the kitchen. Thank you for the wonderful stay, we will definitely rent your condo again. Eric and Diego

Charming condo

Loved this condo in the heart of the Romantic Zone. Unit was spacious and clean. We spent 90% of our time when we were in the unit on the gorgeous balcony looking at the ocean. The pool on the top of the building is very nice with a little waterfall and a good supply of chairs/tables/umbrellas. Walked to everything-restaurants, grocery, shopping, etc. Farmers market on Saturday morning was great - bought fruit, limes, avocados, coffee for the week. Really enjoyed our week!

Family vacation

We loved the property. It is much nicer than it shows in the photos. It has a beautiful deck with a view of the ocean at sunset. The atmosphere in the building was easy going and welcoming. Lovely pool area. Be aware of high season- We arrived right before New Years Eve and it was crazy busy, loud and the beaches were packed. Everything calmed down a few days later to a lovely din of noises. The place came with daily housekeeping and beach towels and regular towels. It was a little tricky with storage- we did not have a lot of closet space and there was no where to hang our wet bathing suits. Overall a wonderful experience.

La Palapa!

We have stayed at the La Palapa condos, which are oceanfront, in the past and always enjoy dining in the restaurant as well as using the beach club. The price of the beach club has gone up to 500 pesos each, 50 pesos extra if you need a towel, or you can bring your own. The owner was pretty responsive to all my questions. There is no washer or dryer and the nearest laundromat is only a few blocks away. Both bedrooms have king size beds. That was appreciated. The kitchen is basic and had not even salt or pepper. Be prepared.The rooftop pool is salt water and is heated, and had a wonderful view. The maid comes everyday! Warning to light sleepers, bring the earplugs, Blondies nightclub is directly across the street and plays the music loud.

Great Condo in La Zona Romantica

Great Condo with both town and bay views. You will hear PV come alive each morning and go to sleep each evening. This is our 37th year vacationing in Puerto Vallarta and each year is better than the other. Definitely would recommend.

Why they chose this property

The very first time we walked into the Zona Romantica we fell in love with Puerto Vallarta. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Most are bilingual but you definitely know you are in Mexico. There are great restaurants here at all different price points. We never get tired of walking the Malecon, listening to the waves, seeing the street artisans and Mariachis. We have been back a number of times and began looking for apartments. We have friends that own in this building and we know how well maintained and clean the building is so when this became available we bought it.

What makes this property unique

This building is in such a great location. If you have been to the Zona Romantica before, you know where we are. If not, you will understand the first time you come down. The roof top pool area is perfect for taking some sun, cooling off in the pool, whale watching (in season) and watching the beautiful sunsets.
