Spotted Fawn Farm/Vintage “Don” restored 1951 airstream/Richardson tiny house
Welcome to our 1951 vintage Richardson, “The Don Draper”. The Don is the perfect romantic getaway!
We are a 60 acre farm on Lake Hartwell with four rentals, The Cottage, The Cabin, The Loft and The Don Draper at Spotted Fawn Farm.
Each of our houses are unique and private, with access to the dock, riding trails, use of our outdoor kitchen area and each has it’s own firepit and outdoor area.
“The Don” sits nestled in shady pines but overlooks our big pasture. It’s an easy walk to the lake or woods trails. Guests are welcome to wander anywhere on the farm (except entering pastures containing animals) and visit with our wild assortment of rescue animals. Visitors are welcome to bring their horses or boats, but please give us a heads up so we know we have space during your stay. Everyone is encouraged to bring leftovers to feed the animals.
Pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times. Chickens are EVERYWHERE and seem to dogs to be fluffy moving squeaky toys! Dogs left alone in the houses must be crated while you are gone.
To see what we do at Spotted Fawn Farm, please check out our FB page. If you’re interested in bringing a horse or want to inquire about wedding pricing.

What an amazing place to stay. So peaceful and relaxing. Loved having all the animals within reach and to be able to sit out and watch them. Excellent hosts!
Stayed for 2 nights. Host upgraded us to the cosy cabin since storm and rain was predicted. Each day was a discovery of different animals. Had a nice walk to the lake and along Tranquility Lane. Nearby village of Hartwell is a jewel to visit. Don’t miss the botanical garden and the brewery at the town square.
This farm was perfect for our family getaway. The accommodations were delightful and extremely clean. We all fell in love with the menagerie of animals. The covered outdoor living space was the perfect spot for us to gather and enjoy the scenery. The hosts have poured their heart and soul into this farm. They go above and beyond to share this special place!
Very charming, tucked into a stand of beautuful pines. A short walk to the lake and so quiet and peaceful. Here's a shocker. I did not see the first mosquito or gnat. I'm from Florida and would go back just for that luxury!

Absolutely Wonderful and Relaxing Stay in the Woods!
This camper was everything we had hoped for, and more! From the minute we arrived, we were impressed...from the cute decor inside and out to the way it was all so neatly put together and made to feel like a true home away from home! The camper was just adorable and more than enough room for 2 of us, even though we spent most of the time on the couch on the porch or sitting by the fire pit. The grounds were gorgeous and provided for a nice walk when we felt like getting some exercise, and loving on the animals was a fun bonus! We even had a deer walk right up next to us at the fire pit on our last night and seemed to want to hang out for a bit! :) I should mention that the outdoor tub was one of the coolest things ever. Nothing like a bath outside in the dark surrounded by stars and the moon and candles!
I would definitely recommend this camper, the whole farm actually, but the camper was perfect for us. Totally laid back and relaxing, a break from the city and noise, and just a fun, quirky place to hang out for a few days! We are most definitely coming back again!

Thanks so much! We always find that our Don guests are the grooviest and nicest! We hope to see you again!
This is so lovely. We adored the camper it is vintage beauty and very well maintained. We did not realize the shower was outdoors and there is no internet or TV. But it was relaxing and perfect if you just want to unwind and the farm is beautiful. I would stay again.
Great, relaxing time enjoying the lake and farm animals! Quaint and quiet Memorial Day Weekend getaway. Hosts were very hospitable from the moment we booked our reservation and even more when they greeted us in person and helped us find our way around as soon as we arrived. Definitely will make a trip back!
Great place to unplug. The hosts were very nice and helpful. Early mornings and sundowns are amazing. We are hoping to get a chance to try the cabins this year as well. Thank you.
A perfect spot to get away from the city for a day or 2. The property is beautiful and the owners are very responsive if you need anything. There is lake access, farm animals, trails, a fire pit and cozy accommodations. Would definitely return.
Probably one of the best trips we have ever booked. Not only was the "Don" adorable and completely comfortable for the 2 of us but the farm experience we had was over the top! Elexis was wonderful and so willing to teach us about the individual personalities that each of the animals had. We got to feed and interact with them and learn more about their history along with the history of the Spotted Fawn Farm. We will forever remember this experience and can't wait to come back to do it again. Elexis is truly an amazing host and without her and her husband opening up their home and lives this type of experience for guests it would have been a completely different trip. We can't thank them enough for the wonderful hospitality!
We spent two quiet, relaxing nights in the Don at the Spotted Fawn. Even better than expected. The hosts are fantastic people, they were nearby if we needed something but otherwise left us complete privacy. We enjoyed the kayaks and sitting on the dock at the lake, watching the animals on the farm and just listening to the silence while doing nothing! Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
This experience was amazing. Hosts were great and easy to communicate with. Such a fun and relaxing time. Loved all the animals and being in walking distance of the lake so we could fish.
Beautiful and peaceful! Loved “The Don”. Adored the farm animals!! Can’t wait to come back when I can just relax and soak up the surroundings!! Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality!!
Elexis and Buddy are a class couple with a beautiful property. My wife, Kristie, and I stayed 2 nights in The Don, a beautiful 1951 camper with lots of privacy. The outside shower was a fun feature. If you want to take a shower at night, bring a flashlight with a magnet or a light to hang in the shower. Bring plenty of apples, pears, and peanuts for the animals. My morning devotions I sat facing a huge field with deer and (I think) starlings. And quiet. Wonderful, no sound but the winds, a deer in the woods scraping his antlers, birds, the animals on the farm. The Eagles’ song Peaceful Easy Feeling could have been written here. Beautiful, clean, and great hosts. We will be back.
