Mid Century Modern Sunland Escape

Spend a relaxing weekend (or longer) at a brand new property located in Sunland Estates.
This designer 2 bedroom mid-century modern home features two large decks (one fully covered in the front and one open to the sun in the back). The spacious living room and kitchen have a high vaulted ceiling with lots of windows which offer great views of the surrounding hills on all sides. The entertainment center includes WIFI and large screen TV. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with quartz countertops and slate steel appliances and the bathroom features a large walk-in shower.
The property is located on a secluded dead in street only 3 doors down from the store and 3 blocks away from the community park with access to the Columbia River.

Sunland Estates is only a few minutes from the Gorge Amphitheater concert venue, Frenchman Coulee hiking and climbing area and multiple horse trails. It's also a great location for launching wine tasting excursions to the many wineries in the area.

Lovely stay at the Orange Door. The home was clean- noticeable vacuum lines shows thorough cleaning was done. Convenient place to stay especially if you're attending events at the Gorge Amphitheatre - 15min drive. Hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this Vrbo.

My friends and I stayed at Tammy’s place for the weekend. We attended a concert at the Gorge and this was the perfect place to stay! It was close to the venue and we were able to book a shuttle as well! I would definitely stay here again.

Communication was excellent. I brought the rental agreement with me, so all we had to do was get the door code. There were instructions for everything in the house. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook basic meals and even lots of spices. Rental was very clean. Well located near the store and short walk to the river. The house next door is under construction, so there was a bit of noise Monday morning of our weekend stay.

We had an excellent stay! The owner was very flexible with last-minute changes and accommodating a late check-in. The location is great, and the property was very clean with well-thought-out extra touches that made the stay even better. The only suggestion I have is to provide a few more garbage bags, but honestly, that’s a minor detail. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Let me know if you’d like any adjustments!

What a gem

My daughter and I stayed a weekend for a concert at the Gorge and this location is amazing. All the amenities and the little community feel was so wonderful. What a special location. Soooo much better then camping! Tammy was a great hostess. The rental was perfect, clean and extremely comfortable. This is a perfect location for any event at the Gorge, or a family vacation. Perfect retreat for concert at The Gorge

Three wonderful nights at this immaculate apartment. Spacious, comfortable and relaxing. You can listen to a bird orchestra from either balcony. The interior is almost soundproof with all doors/windows closed, if you prefer. The views of the Basalt Ciffs were beautiful. Tammy was quick to respond plus had many great suggestions for places to go. Definitely use the local Sunland Express bus for transportation to/from The Gorge.

Girls trip for show at the gorge

This is a perfect location ig you want the quiet and chill experience. It was perfect my friends and i relaxed, took the shuttle that is so worth it. We to the show which was fun loud and a party. Took the shuttlw home and chilled. This place is near thr river consider sleeping in, using the great kitchen, and then read a book by the river or get in! Relaxing. The only thing i would say i would use again amd more often if availble for one night versus 2 night minimum but with cl3an a d such i get it. The instruction book was helpful on what was expected for clean up and leaving the place. We brought.our glass and recycle as there is only trash service, so if it matters to you consider a trash bag to bri g back with you. It was great the a/c worked perfectly.

Sunland Stay

This place was about 14 minutes from the Gorge Amphitheater and a 4 minute walk to a park along the river. It was an awesome location! The house feels brand new, is clean and well stocked with everything we needed (pots pans, silverware, spices, olive oil, etc.). There are two large patios, which are great to sit outside on and a BBQ too. Just be prepared to sign a contract before entering the house. The host Tammy will send you it before arriving and then met us at the house to have us sign it. She'll also take a picture of your license. Then she gave us the passcode to get into the house. She was very flexible with timing and just wanted to ensure her place was taken care of. We just got confused, because VRBO told us we would be sent the code to the house earlier in the day. We didn't realize she'd meet us at the house before we entered. Overall, I'd recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at Sunland Estates..the property is incredibly clean and well equipped! A/C was much welcomed and appreciated during this summer trip! The outside decks are very enjoyable and perfect for morning coffees. Location is excellent and super convenient to the General Store (which is couple houses away & well stocked). So many thoughtful little details and kindness has gone into this property that it’s easy to feel spoiled and well taken care of while away from home. The huge walk-in shower, large decks, reclining chairs and fridge (ice & water filter) were some of the highlights at this property. Such a fun trip and Tammy made us feel very welcomed and cared for as guests. Girls weekend!

Myself and 3 of my friends rented this house for Memorial Day Weekend and for a concert at the Gorge! It was such a great space! I am so glad I found it when I did! It is new, clean, very nicely maintained and welcoming! It is right by the store in Sunland and so convenient! We used the shuttle to and from the Gorge and did wine tasting one of the evenings at Cave B. The owners were very communicative and helpful. They were accommodating and very flexible with our check in times, considering the holiday-weekend traffic and leaving Seattle! I love this area so much. Definitely will be recommending to friends!

Mid-century modern masterpiece!

Tammy was very accommodating and very prompt in our communications via app, email and text. The property is super clean and comfortable with a mid-modern flair. Tons of live plants, period furniture, and modern touches made it a delightful stay! Just minutes from Cave b and the Gorge Amphitheater made it a perfect landing place for our weekend fun.
