Fabulous pool & ping pong, poor Wi-Fi & overcommunicative owner

Loved the pool, BBQ fire pit, ping pong table, rooms inside were big and comfortable. Low beams led to many a headache, poor solution for wifi (limited with top-ups) was annoying and badly handled. Owner was a bit too present / involved.,

Lovely stay with welcoming host

We had a great stay at this property and the host made us welcome when we arrived. It was as described in the listing and we even got the wifi working well in the end. The pool area was amazing. The house and utensils could have been cleaner but nothing that particularly affected our stay there. It wasnt great that we had to make our own beds, especially when we only found this out as we went to bed and that we had to hunt around for the duvets (in the wardrobes) and the bedding ( in a basket in the washing machine room) and it wasnt clear what should fit where - this didnt make for a great first impression after our journeying. A handbook of some sort in French or English would have been useful - explaining the pool alarm and oven eg. And some local info would have been nice - market days and closing days for boulangerie. Watch for the beams - even knowing about them didnt prevent the many bumps. And take pool towels with you unless previously agreed with host.

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub und wir waren grundsätzlich zufrieden, die Vermieterin war auch sehr freundlich und bemüht. Allerdings stimmt hier das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis leider nicht!!! Man merkt deutlich, dass das Haus in die Jahre gekommen ist. Zum Außenbereich: - Pool wird per Saugroboter über Nacht gereinigt. Der dazu festinstallierte Schlauch trübt leider tagsüber das Schwimmvergnügen etwas. - defekte Poolbeleuchtung - defekte Aussendusche. - keine Liegemöglichkeiten am Pool! Es gibt lediglich ein paar einfache Klapp-Sonnenstühle und einen Esstisch mit Metallstühlen - Kein Käscher für den Pool vorhanden Zum Innenbereich: - größtes Manko: Es riecht im hinteren Bereich des Hauses sehr streng & unangenehm, als hätte dort eine Katze überall markiert - Grundsätzlich zwar gemütlich, aber -wie bereits erwähnt- schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und auch recht dunkel alles - Schlafzimmer heizen sich schnell auf- Keine Mückengitter an den Fenstern (schlafen mit geöffneten Fenstern daher keine Option!) - angrenzende Straße leider deutlich hörbar- Fehlender Sichtschutz nach außen in beiden Badezimmern- In den Badezimmer-Beleuchtungen war jeweils nur 1 Birne statt der 2 vorgesehenen installiert, zum Schminken nicht so ideal - Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und grundsätzlich sauber, die Töpfe und der Backofen waren allerdings sehr dreckig, als wir ankamen.Für den Preis würden wir diese Unterkunft nicht nochmal buchen und auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Un excellent séjour

La maison est très agréable et très bien agencée, la piscine est grande, la terrasse en bois est très appréciable. L'espace barbecue/plancha est très bien organisé. Notre hôte est d'une grande gentillesse et elle est toujours disponible pour toute question.Un excellent séjour, je recommande vivement cette les Granges du Maridate

MAISON TRES BIEN POUR PASSER DES VACANCES EN FAMILLE

Merci à Colette qui nous a très bien reçus. La maison était très bien et l'appentis avec le barbecue très apprécié. La maison est un peu près de la route mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé. Certains d'entre nous auraient aimé une piscine chauffée mais nous en avons bien profité quand même.

Les espaces multiples et vastes (terrasse, patio couvert, cuisine, salle à manger, salon) permettent divers usages diurnes et nocturnes, ainsi qu'une adaptation aux diverses conditions climatiques.

Entre ami pour 2 jours, nous sommes.tombés sur cette pepite. Tout est réuni ! Cadre agréable, tous les équipements necessaires pour passer un bon moment, propre, proche tous commerces (2 mn en velo ou voiture) et surtout un excellent contact avec la propriétaire COLETTE.

Perfekter Urlaub

Ein wunderschönes Haus im alten Stil erbaut und gepflegt, mit einem großartigen Gelände um das Haus herum. Mit großem Swimmingpool, großflächigen Terrassen, zum Essen und Entspannen, genügend Sitz und Liegemöglichkeiten um sich auch einmal zurückziehen zu können. Besonders erfreulich war das großzügige zusätzliche Gebäude zum Grillen, Essen und Tischtennis spielen unter einem Dach! Es erwies sich in den heißen Tagen als bevorzugter Aufenthaltsort! Kurz - das Objekt ist ein Urlaubsparadies - ein Kleinod! Und dann noch Madame Colette- die liebevolle, charmante Dame als Gastgeberin von nebenan. Man kann sich keinen schöneren Urlaub in einer Großfamilie vorstellen!

Idyllische Urlaubs-Oase

Herrlicher Außenbereich, genialer/großer und sauberer Pool, viele gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten, Küche geräumig/ für größere Gruppen geeignet und gut ausgestattet, 10 Autominuten zu einem schönen Atlantik- Strand: Plage du Grand Crohot, bequeme Betten und 2 Bäder mit Fenstern. Es gibt nur 2 kleine Kritikpunkte: Die beiden fensterlosen separaten Toiletten sind leider schon etwas muffig und die hinter dem Haus verlaufende Straße ist in den Morgenstunden etwas stärker befahren. Das hat unser super Urlaubsfeeling aber nicht getrübt. Wir hatten wirklich alles, was man braucht! Und eine sehr liebe Gastgeberin, danke Colette! Wir haben den Urlaub sooo genossen!!!!

Agréable séjour

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille. Colette est parfaite et très reactive. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine surtout en cette période de canicule.

Jolie maison bien située pour visiter la région

La maison est bien aménagée avec tous les équipements nécessaires. La piscine et l’espace extérieur (plancha et table couverte) sont très agréables. La propriétaire est très accueillante. Excellent séjour pour toute la famille.

Parfait

Super maison. Grande piscine, cuisine d'été et douche exterieur. Logement conforme à l'annonce et à la description. Parfait pour passer un weekend ou des vacances en famille ou entre amis et découvrir le bassin d'Arcachon. Super communication avec la propriétaire qui est très arrangeante (et souple avec les horaires hors juillet/août).Un grand merci.

Maison très agréable.

La maison et les extérieurs sont très agréables. Vraiment tout le confort et très propre. Le plus la gentillesse de Colette et son dynamisme. Je recommande la maison.

Séjour très agréable dans ce gîte

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment bien que trop court, nous avons quand même profité de l’extérieur et de la piscine même au mois d’avril. 😊 Le gîte est parfait, nous reviendrons.
