About this property

First & Frost Back Apartment at The Primary

In what is the former Stone Lake Elementary school, this unit is a former classroom which is comprised of a full kitchen, dining and living space with 2 queen bedroooms and 1 bath.

Please note that this is a dog-friendly property, and building does not have AC.

While our apartments offer full privacy, our overnight guests will also have access to shared spaces in the building such as the hallway and may also enjoy use of the gymnasium (with a signed release form found in the unit and when not in use by other guests- typically reserved Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm and Saturday 9am to 11am by the local pickeball association (message us for info on how to join & play during your stay).

Central location in the adorable town of Stone Lake, walk to local coffee shop, boutiques and bar/restaurants, grocery & laundromat.

We have a half-circle drive by the front entrance for easy parking. If you are pulling a trailer or boat, there is plenty of parking on the right side of the building with pull through access.

What a find! In the heart of Northwoods WI, relaxing, clean, comfortable beds, nice big kitchen to make your own meals and eat. Backyard deck (the playground!) was quiet and pretty with afternoon sunshine. Host was prompt in all responses and helpful. Beautiful place!

Such a great spot

My my spent her summers at stone lake and her cousins went to school at the primary when they were younger. Seeing them walk down memory lane was priceless. They did such a great job of maintaining the history of the place while still tastefully updating everything. I will ONLY stay here anytime we visit stone lake

The cutest apartment

If you are looking to stay in Stone Lake, look no further. This is such a clean, cute apartment! All the amenities that you need. We needed to extend our stay one more day, and Erin was so gracious and prompt when we reached out to her. Thank you for such a nice, quiet stay. Will definitely be back!

Clean, spacious and stylish

The apartment was impeccably clean and stylish (personality without the clutter of nic-nacks). Good location in the little downtown area of Stone Lake. The internet didn't work initially, but the owner quickly responded and resolved it. The original school gym was a fun place for the kids to burn some energy after dark. The apartment felt drafty in the evening but we were able to adjust the heaters.
