This two bedroom, two full bath, upper floor end unit at the edge of the Kamahana complex features ocean, mountain, and golf course views from each room. As you end your day snuggled in the master bedroom's king bed, you'll fall asleep to the sound of the sea. The guest bedroom has a queen bed. You'll love the charming island decor and tropical colors of this Kauai Vacation Rental, the palm leaf ceiling fans that keep you cool in tropical style, and the new island casual living room furniture. There are two full bathrooms, both are newly updated with lovey walk-in showers. Washer and dryer right inside the condo. Cable TV & free wifi are included.

Kamahana 24 overlooks the 5th hole of the Prince golf course with its lush open expanse and ocean views beyond. The beautiful white sands and tranquil waters of north shore Anini Beach are just a few minutes drive, and the view from Kamahana 24 encompasses the length of the Anini reef. In the winter months, you can whale watch from your private lanai! A brief three minute drive takes you to the Princeville center where you can pick up groceries at Foodland, enjoy a macadamia nut ice cream cone at Lappert's, relax in the bar and grill atmosphere of Tiki Iniki, and explore the other shopping and dining options. The charming town of Hanalei, and its world renowned beach, is a 10 minute drive. You'll find many charming shops, galleries, and restaurants in Hanalei. And you've got to find some time to kayak or paddle board on the Hanalei River.

As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned.

This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators.

Peaceful Sunrise

Very comfortable and relaxing. Close to many nice beaches and other attractions. Well equipped. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, boogie boards, and the extra hat came in handy when we lost one of ours.

Slightly disappointing

The location and views are beautiful. There is an incredible secluded beach a short hike away. The condo seemed clean at first but has a roach and ant problem. There were multiple huge roaches and we started noticing dead bugs everywhere. There were also ants all over the place. I reported it to the owner and they said to spray them. I didn’t come on this expensive trip to hunt and kill roaches.

Too little lighting in the bedrooms. Limited restaurants in the area- we didn’t realize how far and the amount of traffic going down to the Poipu area, which is the side of the island we spend the majority of our time. Normal to spend a good three hours in the car each day.

Quiet spot in Princeville

This property was comfortable, well equipped, clean, and spacious. It sits on the edge of a golf course, high on a cliff next to the coast so you’ll have great views from the outside space and living area. It’s at the end of a side road in Princeville so it’s all pretty quiet and serene. We even saw an Albatross feeding her baby, who was safely nested in a shrub right next to where we parked. We didn’t swim while we were there, but there’s a nice little pool right next to this building. This is an upstairs condo but you enter the unit on the ground floor where there’s a small entryway with a little closet (containing some beach items for use) then the stairs to go to the second floor. We used the washer and dryer daily and had no issues. We didn’t cook while we were there but it certainly seems that everything we would have needed was there in the kitchen. We spent time in the condo mostly in the late evenings/nights/mornings and the rest of our time was out in Hanalei or the surrounding area. We would stay here again!

Beds and furniture was comfy. Lanai was our favorite spot. Great place to walk the golf course or down the road to Princeville center. Access code was easy no problem. Appreciated the cooler, beach chairs, beach towels, body board for the beach. Great location. Saturday market in Princeville was fun. Saw many whales from lanai. Water in showers need to be hotter. Kitchen well equipped.needed better cleaning of stove. Second portable fan would be nice had one. Most of time nice breeze through the condo. Would stay again and recommend. 14 steps up into condo main floor with luggage groceries for those with mobility issues.

I would like to say that my family had the most wonderful time at this rental, but I have to send a warning to other renters of this property. While the home itself is nice enough, should you require help from the management team, you will be disappointed. Last week we returned to see a note from management stating our water would be off from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm the next day. No problem. We planned our day around this outage. We returned from the beach at 4.00 pm but still no water and the workers that had been in the area most of the week had left. We had dinner plans that evening, so we just held tight until 5.00 pm before making phone calls, leaving messages, and sending emails asking for a simple update on when the water would be back. No one answered our calls. It wasn't until 6.30 pm before water was restored, but by then we had to cancel our evening plans. Perhaps this doesn't sound like a big deal to you, but when you spend thousands of dollars for a week long vacation, every moment of your trip is important, so we missed out on a reservation we had made well in advance of our trip. Had it not been for our neighbor who happened to be the owner of their condo, I'm sure water would not have come back on until the following day because at no point did our personal management representative, or anyone else we called/emailed respond.

Great Location But...

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are from South Florida and are used to living in a tropical enviroment. Having carpet throughout a home is not a very good idea. The house had a Very Very Musty Smell which is caused by the presence of mold and/or mildew. No matter how much with fans blowing, doors open, the smell was always there even affecting the smell of our clothes. If it was not for the fact that we had paid up front for the rental we would had of left the property immediately on our arrival. Secondly without notification or permission painters had entered our rental and filled our living room with balcony furniture making it unusable while they were painting the balcony. Last but not least when we were in the process of leaving at the end of our rental agreement the same painter open our door without permission started to paint the interior door while we were inside. The painter said she had to paint all the doors in the complex. Ten feet from our door was a vacant unit which the door had not been painted. I suggested why not paint that door we would be out within a half hour. The young lady who was the painter was very hostile towards us. If you like a great view from a balcony but don't mind a heavy musty smell to go along with people entering your rental without notification this would be the place for you. Mr. & Mrs. Martin

It was also nice to have beach chairs and toys available. Only downside is the furniture is a little worn out and the condo could use some work on sliding glass doors. But overall we really enjoyed our stay.

nice time in Princeville

Fantastic views from the balcony patio. I also love the dark night sky showing the Milky Way. Property was clean and well furnished. We used the Tommy Bahama chairs and beach umbrella.

Excellent home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Even equipped with beach equipment! The washer/dryer being in the condo was nice too. And with the windows open with screens in place the ocean breeze made the no AC very comfortable.

This condo is stunning! The decor is so fun and beautiful art everywhere on the walls and surfaces. The view is breathtaking. Lovely lania soaks it all in for morning coffee and evening wine. Great location and view

We are so glad we rented this condo. It was very close to all the hiking and activities we wanted to do, also lots of restaurants in Princeville and Hanalei. The condo was nice and roomy and had a great view across a golf course to the ocean. Also had fun watching the variety of tropical birds flying around.
