Ancient stone house restored in the tradition of the Perigord, surrounded by 5 acres of meadow and forest.
Pool area is integrated into the landscape and the garden is constantly maintained. The qualities of old roses adorn the property.
The owners house is adjacent but well separated from the vegetation to ensure privacy. The owners are at your disposal in case of need. If interested we offer cooking classes Italian free.
In the village of La Chapelle, 1 km from the house, you will find a grocery store, a bakery, a café, three restaurants and in summer a weekly market with local products. A few minutes les caves of Lascaux ll, the castles of the Dordogne, Sarlat (the most beautiful market in France) and for nature lovers the gardens of Terrasson et d 'Eyrignac

Wonderful!

We had the most amazing 2 weeks in this beautiful area of France. Carla and Giovanni were the perfect hosts: warm and welcoming, but still giving us our privacy. The house is clean and comfortable, with everything you need provided. We highly recommend a stay here, we will be returning!

Absolutely wonderful

My family had a glorious 2 weeks in Giovanni & Carla's house. The area is absolutely beautiful with some incredible pre-historic sites to visit locally. Giovanni and Carla were incredibly hospitable and gave us a very warm welcome. Their knowledge of the area was very much appreciated and we would definitely love to visit again. 5 stars across the board!

The Property is amazing, so calm and relaxing, perfect for anyone's holiday. The pool is simply brilliant, large, clean in a beautiful setting. We spent the first night sat in the pool after a long drive looking at deer in the fields - it was perfect.There is everything you would need in a home from home, lovely outdoor space, ample bathrooms and a very spacious living room.But what really makes the holiday is the warmth and kindness of the hosts Giovanni & Carla, they are so lovely, thoughtful, generous and brilliant with our whole family. Holidays are about memories and they are a huge part of ours. Never imposing, but there if we needed anything.The location is tranquil, but only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the village, or a 15 minute drive to Montignac which has everything you need. We will be back soon we hope!

Joli Gîte très agréable et très bien décoré. La vue sur la campagne est très belle et le jardin et la piscine sont tres agréables. Les hôtes sont vraiment aux petits soins. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

What a magical and memorable stay at the house of Giovanni and Carla.We have been visiting France for years with our children and know what we like. A great pool, a simple, charming house and some beautiful scenery and villages all around. This house delivered everything and more with the bonus of the lovely hosts. Our children were making focaccia with Giovanni by the second or third evening. Carla gave us dozens of recommendations for gardens, restaurants and walks to visit and enjoy. The house is on the edge of a little commune with a small shop and bar / restaurant. The shop does amazing bread but we drove 15 mins to Montignac for the butchers and patisserie (both excellent). It was very hot when we were there but the temperature dropped at night enough to make it pleasant for sleeping...no air con and not required.Highlights included canoeing on the river, viewing the 21,000 year old cave paintings at Lascaux IV, the gardens at Marqueyssac, Sarlat (20 mins away), Beynac chateau...all the villages and scenery. Montignac is as good as it gets for a local town. Le Bareil restaurant in La Chappelle was epic and not to be missed. But spending time with G&C and seeing the kids enjoying cooking with Giovanni was the real highlight.Would thoroughly recommend and we hope to go back.

Havre de paix entouré de nature

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable dans cette charmante maison de campagne, véritable havre de paix entouré de nature. La piscine privée est un véritable atout, idéale pour se détendre, se rafraîchir et s’amuser en toute intimité. Nos hôtes ont été absolument adorables et toujours disponibles pour répondre à nos besoins et questions sur la région, rendant notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous avons eu le plaisir de découvrir et déguster de délicieux gâteaux faits maison, un vrai régal ! De plus, nos hôtes nous ont proposé des ateliers de cuisine italienne et dégustation. Cela a été une expérience enrichissante et gourmande, nous permettant de découvrir de nouvelles techniques. La maison est également très bien située, 20 à 30 minutes des sites à visiter. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison pour un séjour reposant et gourmand. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience !

Nous avons été accueillis avec gentillesse par Carla & Giovanni. Ils sont été très discret et qui plus est aux petits soins pour nous avec des spécialités italiennes. Giovanni est est vrai cordon bleu ! N’hésitez pas à y aller vous serez conquis par le calme et la localisation du bien !

Vacances en Dordogne.

Très belle maison, un super accueil, Carla et Giovanni sont tout simplement géniaux. On a eu un apéro, une brioche (faire par Giovanni), des pâtes (par Giovanni), du houmous. Et surtout leur sourire. Un tout grand merci à eux pour ces magnifiques vacances.

Une belle location

Très belle maison de caractère, spacieuse et pratique. Bien placée, à 20 minutes en voiture maxi des sites à visiter principaux. On a apprécié la tranquillité de la maison située dans des champs à l'orée d'une forêt, la très belle piscine et l'accueil et les conseils de visite des propriétaires qui vivent à côté, dans une autre maison. On a aussi apprécié le fait que les produits ménagers étaient fournis en plus des draps et des serviettes. Nous étions 4 pour un logement de 6, c'était parfait.

Such a find! Wonderful holiday

We spent a wonderful week with our 3 children who loved all the outdoor space to explore and of course the pool. Giovanni and Carla were charming and could not have been more helpful making sure we had everything we needed. A real tranquil haven and brilliantly situated for all the activities in the Dordogne.

Excellente prestation

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce gîte, idéalement situé. Détente et repos au rendez-vous, piscine très agréable. Idéal pour une famille avec des enfants qui disposent d'un vaste terrain de jeu. Delightful property

The property was charming, very clean, full of character, well-maintained and the owners did their utmost to make us feel comfortable. I would certainly recommend it to a friend or relative. The position is also great as it is close to many of the attractions that the Dordogne has to offer. The children had the swimming pool to themselves and had a great time. A really lovely place.

Maison et piscine au cœur de la verdure. Charme, calme et dépaysement sont au rendez-vous. Une mention spéciale aux chaleureux propriétaires (Giovanni et Carla) qui sont plein d'attention pour accueillir leurs hôtes (pain frais et confiture maison à l'arrivée, partage des coins à visiter etc..., disponibilité). Et que dire des cours de cuisine ! Une merveille pour partager et apprendre les techniques et anecdotes de la cucina italiana.

Superbe et très calme

La maison est très bien équipée et très calme - Bien que très proche de toutes les attractions de cette belle région (Lascaux, Sarlat, Vallée de la Dordogne, etc...) La piscine est très agréable et isolée ce qui permet aux enfant se s'amuser sans déranger personne Cerise sur le gâteau, les propriétaires sont très gentils et très attentionnés Je recommande vivement cette maison

Superbe endroit et maison. très bon accueil merci à Carla et Giovanni pour leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et leur bons conseils. Maison très propre et a tout ce qu il faut pour être bien. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Très belle piscine implantée dans un cadre magnifique. Un grand merci à Giovanni pour ses cours culinaires. Nous tenterons de refaire les pâtes fraiches au pesto ainsi que le risotto aux légumes. Merci pour tout.

Nous avons passé une magnifique séjour dans cette location bien agencée, au calme, avec une vue magnifique et proche de superbes ballades. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes (petits cadeaux à l'arrivée, pain frais , confitures, conseils ...), bref, que du bonheur, à recommander . Vous cherchez un moment de détentes c'est ici. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir des cours de cuisine donnés par Giovanni. Les pâtes fraiches au pesto et le risotto aux légumes : un délice.

Extraordinaire !

Une maison accueillante et chaleureuse, très bien équipée et très propre, sur un grand espace de verdure, le calme, la piscine grande et très bien entretenue. Nous avons même eu le privilège d'avoir la visite d'une biche lors d'un petit-déjeuner ! Beaucoup d'activités autour de ce havre de paix : grottes, musées, kanoë, vélo, marchés (nocturnes également) fêtes de village, gastronomie .... De quoi occuper la famille avec des ados de 12, 13 et 16 ans ! Quant aux propriétaires, Giovanni et Carla, un couple chaleureux, tout en discrétion mais très bons guides, ils sauront vous permettre d'apprécier la région, son patrimoine et plus.... Carla et Rhodes ( notre petit chien ) une vraie tendresse partagée ! Quand a la cuisine de Giovanni, sa passion, elle est incontournable ! Chaque plat est " pimenté " de son origine, de sa petite histoire.... Les pâtes au pesto : un délice ! Tout comme ce séjour que nous espérons renouveler....

"Nous avons passé un séjour en famille très agréable à la Chapelle Aubareil. Jolie maison rénovée avec beaucoup de goût, belle piscine et calme absolu dans un grand espace de verdure. L''accueil des propriétaires et leur cuisine italienne ont été grandement appréciées ! Pas mal de petits villages à visiter dans le coin et bonnes adresses gastro."
