We enjoyed staying at the cottage! The place had a lot of history..Meant the Aunt of the owner and she was so kind and told us the history of the island.. Was a great vacation…Definitely going back.
The cottage was perfect for our family, everyone had their own room. The beds were comfortable, the dock towels came in handy and that kitchen was perfect. Every room had a river view! The porch at anytime of day was a great spot to be. Well worth it and we certainly hope to return!
The property has a long history, posted on a wall. There was rain on several of the days. The property has internet, books, dvds and streaming TV and movies that kept us occupied. There are plenty of bedrooms, and the beds are comfortable.
The kitchen is well equipped with cookware and dishes. Two refrigerators provide plenty of room for food. The view of the seaway is fantastic, plenty of freighters passed by. The owner made it easy to find by providing the GPS coordinates and accurate pictures. Very conveniently located, close to Clayton fuel dock and the Clayton boat launch and antique bpat museum. We had some beautiful days mixed in with the rain, and overall we had a great time!
We had a wonderful experience all the way around. The attention to detail in making sure we had everything we needed before during and after our stay was second to none. I had a last minute issue and they went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed. The even followed up the next day to make sure all was well. We loved this place and plan to be back real soon.
The cottage is a perfect example of a classic rustic 1000 islands cabin. The sunsets from the dock are stunning. The dock is a bit difficult to dock to but other than that it is a large and wondeful place to enjoy the river.
The location and cottage were amazing We really enjoyed our stay.

Great island experience
We live on an adjoining island but needed a place for family and overflow guests during a birthday weekend. This place fit the bill nicely. Well received by all guests who found it clean, well appointed and quaint. Fabulous channel view, swimming off the dock and close to Clayton and marinas.
