Spectacular, with great energy, colors, tudor-style house! Walking distance to the beautiful beach, restaurants, a variety of services, train station that would take you to San Diego or Los Angeles. Very comfortable 2 bedroom/1 bath house with everything brand new: washer/dryer, refrigerator, furniture, TVs. mattresses, dishes, utensils, pots, towels, etc...

Make yourself at home in this very appealing Oceanside beach house!

Right around the corner from this home, you'll find VITAL climbing gym, offering rock climbing for all ages. Cross the street to Bagby Beer Company for a pint and dinner, and head down to Oceanside Pier afterward to catch a Pacific sunset. Rent a surfboard or bicycle at a shop nearby, or drive down into central San Diego for even more fun options.

Enjoy the the outside in the back of the house. The beautiful San Diego's county offers the temperate climate that is excellent all year round - you can even grill out using the grill.

A full, well-stocked kitchen will make whipping up a delicious fresh dish a piece of cake. Hang out by the fireplace for a game night, or walk down to the Oceanside beach. Free WiFi and two cable TVs are offered during your stay. With two bedrooms plus a the futons/sofa beds there's room for a whole family. A private washer/dryer is also available for your convenience.

Great location and Yard

The house is charming, great location (within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, breweries, etc), well maintained backyard, and dog friendly. While the house is charming, it needs some upgrades, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. The first night, we were without heat because in order to turn the heater on, it needs to initially be on the maximum setting. We emailed the property manager at 6am and they responded within 5 minutes to advise.

Lovely Home

This home is lovely. It’s charming and cute in a quiet neighborhood. The home as a whole was great. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The washer and dryer were new. The beds were very comfortable. While most of the furniture in the home was white and clean, the couch was terrible. It’s old and showing quite of bit of wear. The home didn’t appear to have a ton of upgrades other than lots of fresh paint. The water heater gave enough hot water for about 5-8 mins. We were very grateful for the extra blankets. We had no idea the home was going to get so cold in the morning. Now, that’s not a problem of the owners or the home, just something we weren’t aware of. The hosts were great. Easy to communicate with. Helpful whenever I needed anything or had questions. Prompt in their responses and really patient with me when they realized I unplugged the video security. Again, sorry about that. 😬 The only real disappointment of the home is that we were made to believe we could walk to the beach but after a few attempts, that proved to not be true. It was a required drive. Kind of a bummer. All in all, lovely home. Lovely hosts. Thank you.

Per g***gle maps from the house to the sandy area of the beach 522 S Strand is a 16 min walk. The distance is 0.7 miles. The couch was purchased when the rest of the furniture was purchased. Perhaps we need to replace it. Thank you for staying at our place.

Clean, comfortable, great location!

This was a perfect house for us! We enjoyed walking to the beach, surfing, dinner out in the back yard, train ride to San Diego, short drive to San Diego safari park, great restaurants, and comfortable, clean home! It lives up to its photos—a nice old neighborhood within walking distance of the beach, with the house newly decorated in the modern style. It is so conveniently situated whether you want to walk, or go places by train or car. I highly recommend this place. We hope to come again!

Great choice!

This house was great for our family! Not only is it fully-stocked, but it is thoughtfully set-up. We had everything we needed and were pleasantly surprised by several great little extras. The house is charming and the back yard is a huge plus. It’s not highlighted very well, but there is a full size washer and dryer in the house, which was so great. Quiet neighborhood, good WiFi, and stylish (new!) furnishings. Finally, the owner/manager was SO great to work with: attentive, thoughtful, and really goes the extra mile. When we go back, we will definitely choose this rental again!
