Queen-sized bed with plush linens, split AIR-CONDITIONING, full bathroom with large, walk-in shower and well-appointed finishes. Feel at home in an established quiet neighborhood

This is a lovely neighborhood in an ideal location. Away from the crowds but with easy access to everything you might want to do. Clean with LOTS of storage. Good bed, good bathroom, nice kitchenette set up. Lovely outside lanai with privacy and green space. Easy parking. Ideal rental. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Getaway!

I stayed at this vrbo for 30 days while searching for an apartment and had a wonderful time! It's exactly as depicted in the photos and video: clean, cute and very efficient. The neighborhood is quiet and great for going on a stroll or jog, and the beach is about a mile away. The property manager was very responsive and accommodating. Definitely a 10/10!

Quiet and relaxing

The “Bird of Paradise” was wonderful. Although the kitchen was small, it was definitely adequate to prepare breakfasts and lunches. We never tried cooking in the evening, so can’t speak to that. There is a hot plate and a toaster oven available for cooking. The queen bed was very comfortable. There were no facilities for eating inside, but luckily the weather was always pleasant enough to enjoy the lanai table for dining. The neighborhood is generally very quiet, and walkable (20 minutes) to Kahala mall with large variety of restaurants and shops.

Perfect little hideaway

Place was great and Diana was awesome to work with. Only complaint: both nightstands are wooden with no finish, meaning that a cold glass will leave a water ring within a minute. Because of this, and because I had to put a deposit down, a few coasters should be provided.

Amazing place and locale

This small apartment off the main house was close to a grocery and gorgeous quiet beach we had a lovely stay. I would have liked more counter space in kitchen for cooking, I was wishing there was a table or separate stand for the small appliances and a little more lighting for cooking. No regrets tho it was lovely, clean and thoughtfully furnished.

Nice cozy apartment in quiet area of Honolulu

My wife and I recently stayed here while I attended a meeting at the Kahala Resort which was only a five minute drive. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and safe; there were many joggers and people out walking. The apartment had a comfortable bed, plenty of closet space. The washer and dryer, though shared with the homeowners, was convenient. There was also a large refrigerator and kitchenette. Kahala Mall was close and we generally drove there but it is walkable. Too much unpredictable weather and didn't want to take the chance of getting soaked. The property manager, Diana, was extremely helpful and was very quick to respond to any problems or questions we had. We had some little glitches with broken or missing items but Diana resolved them quickly. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose.

Perfect for solo traveler on the island for business!

Not being a fan of the high traffic tourist areas, I was seeking a little oasis for myself during a week of combined vacation/work in Honolulu. This little place met my standards on every measure. Clean, quiet, well-appointed...every detail is attended to. Beach is within a healthy walking distance. So is Diamond Head and the scenic lookout, for that matter. Though downtown is easily accessible by Uber/Lyft, I enjoyed walking as much as possible. Located in an affluent, safe neighborhood of well-maintained homes, within easy walk/cab distance to Whole Foods (I walked). The *ideal* spot... I would love to stay here again if I return!

Not a real one bedroom

The place was clean and bed comfortable, but this is not a real one bedroom. It is a small studio with a very tiny kitchen. The only table to eat at is outside, which is unusable when it is raining and cold. Also, the manager only left one extra kitchen trash bag, which for a week’s stay isn’t sufficient. And there wasn’t even a clean sponge in the kitchen or soap in the bathroom. So be prepared to stock everything yourself.

Quaint little getaway far from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. We loved it!

We stayed in two other VRBOs on our trip and this was by far our favorite. Quiet, lots of street parking, walking distance from the beach, and just a very well thought out and comfortable room.

Gorgeous little get-away!

My boyfriend and I stayed in this beautiful little cabana over the 4th of July weekend. It is like a hotel suite in a quiet upscale Kahala, close to beaches and shopping. The Kahala beach which is just 5 minutes away is an absolutely beautiful local spot. WholeFoods and Kahala Mall are also close by and handy. Diana, the property manager, was easy to work with, very pleasant and responsive. I would highly recommend this place for a getaway on Oahu and will definitely be back. Mahalo!
