About the host

Host profile image
We are Randy and Dori Bock, with our Anatolian, Bud. With our love of horses, cattle, and ranching as a way of life, we came up to this country in 1996 from Wyoming. We've been managing a cattle & guest ranch since the start of our time in Montana. Purchasing our place in 2000, which is adjacent to the guest ranch we've been working with since 1999, we are ever dabbling in its improvements. We now have the two guest cabins and another newly renovated next to our fishing ponds.

We know this country well and whether you are riding, hiking, driving, boating, back country skiing, we can point you to some spectacular remote places accessible from our place. We'd love to share it with you!

Why they chose this property

We are remote, no traffic noise here. Great place to get away from it all and relax. Close to many uncrowded lakes and rivers for fly fishing, and water sports like paddle boarding, and kayaking. Photography opportunities, mountain biking, and winter sports like snow shoeing, and back country skiing. This location is prime for horseback riding.

What makes this property unique

We love how accessible this country is by horseback. Abandoned old logging roads, and open country allow you to see beautiful open meadows, and endless expanses of remote mountain ranges. The spectacular Cabinet Wilderness Area can be seen from our valley's mountain sides and tops.
