This was such a special little place. Beautiful grounds and a cozy space. My family and our two dogs had a wonderful 4th of July weekend and will definitely be back. Host was friendly and helpful and the apartment was well equipped with all we needed. Definitely a 10 out of 10!

My husband, adult daughter and I stayed with our pets for 6 days and had SUCH a great stay! Highly recommend. Beautiful setting, relaxing and comforts of home while having loved pets with us. Our host was responsive and gracious.

I booked 3 bed - 1 king and 2 queen and 3 full bath and got 2 queen and I full beds with 1 full bath and 1 bath with no toilet. My first option offered by the owner was to use the bathroom at the top of the stairs. Out of 5 guests, our youngest age is 64! Our next option was to open another room with a bath but was asked to pay 30 cleaning fee for it. I paid it because we needed another toilet and climbing stairs in the middle of the night isn't an option. There isn't anything in the description of the property to indicate it's not wheelchair friendly and this was another challenge for us. Also, there's no railing on the outdoor steps and that's a challenge for older folks with balance issues. Carrying a lot of bulky luggage up and Duran can be challenge also. I would also suggest full bedding and upgrade your pillows. One bed had no mattress cover and the slats weren't screwed to the frame, another only 1 sheet and some of the pillows were very old. Our room had a musty smell to it when the doors were closed. I emailed twice before arriving with questions with one asking for an early check in but got no response. Last but not least, the owners dogs barked incessantly for over an hour outside at night when we were trying to sleep. Overall, it is a nice property, it's newer and relatively clean but there are obviously issues that need to be addressed. I'd give them another shot after these are addressed if we are in the area again.

Five adults and two young children stayed for two nights June 1-3rd. The place was immaculate! The beds comfortable. The scenery stunning! The place was peaceful. Seanie, the host, was absolutely incredibly warm and welcoming. She went out of her way to make certain we had everything we needed and even brought over appropriate age toys for our grandson. The hot tub was a very nice bonus. We kayaked Lavon Lake and Crystal Lakes from her dock. It was a very wonderful stay!
