BEAUTIFUL condo on the 17th floor of Park Royal Hotel. Very secure and has room service, restaurant, bar and beautiful infinity pool and Gym Our beds are very comfortable and we have cable tv and wifi. Living room has a smart tv with netflix and others avail. Full kitchen and living room. Tv in every bedroom. Condo has washer/dryer combo and blow dryer in master bath. Marble floors, marble showers, Large double door refrigerator with water and ice in the door.

RELAXATION

This was a great place and the best take away was it was RELAXING. Just to sit on the balcony and take in the ocean and views was all that was really needed. It is a great location for lots of day excursions and activities. Communication with owner couldn't be better. Will stay again.

We stayed for two weeks. Did not want to leave. Waking up to the ocean waves. beautiful views and sunsets. Sunrises from the entry balcony. We will be back!

The place is amazing.

We love the place but the only inconvenience was that place was not clean and the laundry closet had a really bad odor. Also, I had it to called front desk three times because of the loud noises, they where doing maintenance on upper level first thing in the morning.

Great location

Very nice location. This unit is on the 17h floor of the Park Royal hotel. The view is fantastic from the windows and deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It has a new kitchen and appliances. The Park Royal Hotel is an older building with overworked elevators. The hot water was often not hot or was off but was corrected during our stay. The pool and restaurant were nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. Any issues in the unit were addressed timely by the property representative Luis. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Apartment

The apartment was just as described on VRBO. It was very clean and had everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable vacation. The view from the patio was truly amazing. Even though the apartment was on the 17th floor you could still hear the ocean waves. In addition to the view of the ocean you will also have a wonderful view of the coastline and the city. The air conditioning worked very well and we were quite comfortable as there are mini split's in every room. there are nice TV 's in all the rooms which I thought was a nice touch. However, if you don't speak Spanish the televisions aren't much use because there are no English captions. The living room TV is a smart TV so if you have a Netflix or Prime account you can log in and watch in whatever language suits you. The service and staff was very nice. Everybody was more than eager to help you with whatever you need, but please tip them well. They work very hard and their base wages are not that much. The food from the restaurant was very good. Much better then expected. We had the staff bring the food up to the apartment as the restaurant was hot and humid inside and there was many flies and little kids running around screaming. If you like to eat in peace and comfort I would recommend you have the food delivered to the apartment. Some things we did not like much was the check in process. When we arrived the girl at the desk said she did not have our reservation which of course caused us undo stress. She said the owner did not send them an authorization for our stay. She told us we had to call the owner and tell her to send the authorization. We tried to call and there was no answer, more stress. After about 15 minutes of the desk clerk playing around on the computer she found the reservation, gave us our keys and let us in, thank God! Next, the only other problems we found were with the building itself. There were many people staying there, the elevators were very small and slow. It was unusual to wait 15-20 minutes to get up to our apartment. There was no dress code so you had many sweaty, half dressed men and women crammed into these tiny elevators. We were truly the only ones wearing face masks besides the staff. I would not recommend staying here in August as this is when a lot of people in Mexico take vacation. One last negative comment is that the swimming pool was very poorly maintained. There was a lot of sand in the pool, the water was cloudy and dirty. They could do better

Simply Amazing!

We had a great time! The property is actually better once you are there than in pictures. It has everything you need. It is very spacious and the location is great. It has a fantastic beach view and the sunsets are speechless. Highly recommended

Mazatlán for the win

Our stay was perfect! The condo is perfect and has everything you need. The elevator in the property was terrible!!! Had to walk down 17 floors a few times due to the elevator not working. Hopefully the building owners fix this as this was a huge problem. If they weren’t completely down they were delayed. This is something out of the control of the Condo owners. Again the condo itself was great!!!

Clean and fresh!

We enjoy our stay. Perfect location. Quiet and peaceful yet you can have fun. The kids had fun at the pool and at the beach. There was live music by the pool. I enjoyed the Sinaloa Band. Very authentic music! The food was delicious at the Veranda restaurant by the lobby. I ordered ceviche and it was amazing. The services was exceptional from check-in to check-out. The owner Susan and the manager Linda always check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I enjoyed that the condo was well equipped. Fresh towels, full kitchen with all necessary utensils, etc. I’m glad all the appliances and electronics worked. The staff was always ready to help us at all time. Very friendly staff. No waiting time. I was very surprised that everything went so smooth. It made our vacation enjoyable. No stress.

Amazing views

We only stayed for two days wish it was longer. We arrived during Carnival check in was crowded, we were able to contact the owner to help with the check in. We walked in all you notice is the view. The condo itself was very nice three bedroom 2 bath, we only used one bedroom that was very comfortable. The appliances looked nice although we only used the refrigerator which was very nice. The smart television was Netflix capable. The views were amazing to wake up to, for watching sunsets and for losing yourself in daydreams. The building was very nice as well, had breakfast there. The pool is heated and great with the views of the ocean while your in the pool. I was surprised there were plenty of chairs by the pool. Everyone working there was very nice. It was easy to get a cab to go where you need to. There is a OXXO store right across the street and a small pharmacy next door. I would stay here again.

Excellent location with breathtaking views and ocean waves to greet you

This is an excellent property and location and the owner is very prompt and responsive to your requests. The suite is in a well maintained building with staff on hand to meet your every need to ensure your stay is enjoyable and go over and above. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The large patio doors open to a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean. You wake up each morning to the sounds of the waves crashing into the beach. Each of the bedrooms have a view of the coastline, however only the window in the master suite opens to the sea air. This was not an issue as there is A/C in every room and the breeze from the balcony and entrance doors allow for air flow to easily move through the suite.

We visited Mazatlan for years and knew we wanted to retire there. When the owner we rented from was going to sell we jumped at the chance to buy it as we knew this is where we wanted to be.

Why they chose this property

It is on the bus line, pulmonia and taxi is right outside the gate and if we want we have a secure place to park our vehicle. We love the view, the wind blowing thru the condo and love the heated infinity pool. We get service in the pool whether it be drinks or food and it is nice to be waited on. There is a spa and gym in the hotel for your use. The people here that run the hotel are awesome and it is nice to come back with groceries and someone is right there to take them all up for you!

What makes this property unique

The luxury of staying in a hotel with condo units in it as you have access to room service, restaurant downstairs, pool service, concierge service and bellhop. There is also security at the gate and security that roams the whole property at all times. There are also security cameras.
