Come, enjoy and relax on our private dock shared with my family on the Lake in Beautiful Lake Cowichan.

This suite has just been recently built and is fully furnished with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Take a dip in the lake and cool off in the lake on hot days, and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening on our private dock. If you like, you can park your boat here and waterski or tube to your heart's content, as you bask in the sun with beautiful panoramic views of the tranquil Lake Cowichan.

Wonderful time away from it all!

We had a wonderful holiday. The apartment is beautiful, and the setting more beautiful still. The owners and their very well behaved dog are welcoming and friendly. Lots of walking, kayaking etc to be done. Also interesting towns, museums and so on in easy driving.

Perfect weekend getaway at the Lake

The weather and the lake were amazing. The whole family really enjoyed our time here. The property is clean and comfortable. The view is gorgeous. I hope to be back next summer.

Nice getaway

The suite was clean, had all the kitchen amenities we needed. Wayne is a great host. We enjoyed sitting on the dock in the morning and on the lawn in the evening. Close enough to town to not be a pain to go to town. It’s an absolutely gorgeous setting and stunningly quiet.

Amazing location

Such a beautiful spot! Great views of the lake, short walk to the dock, quiet location yet only 5 minutes from the main grocery store in town. Our young children loved greeting the chickens when they weren't spending time on the lake dock. Lovely hosts and suite. Will definitely look into booking again next trip to Lake Cowichan.

A lovely lakeside end to the summer!

Water was crystal clear and especially enjoyed watching the passing boats cruising up and down during the sunsets. The cool air of the suite was welcome during the hottest time of the day, combined with the sun-soaked view of the lake made for a lovely time.

Beautiful lake getaway

This was our first time staying at the property and won’t be our last! The suite has everything you could need for a comfortable stay and you can’t beat the view or the floating dock. We are a family of 3 with a teen and it worked really well for us. Wayne & Susan are wonderful hosts and provide so many thoughtful touches to make you feel at home. Like the fresh egg delivery from their chickens to the outdoor games and water toys. The lake is so beautiful, it’s just the perfect vacation spot.

A perfect get away

The unit is spotless, we’ll stocked, very private and quiet. We had limitless use of the dock although our hosts used it too. But they are lovely and very friendly. The lake is amazing. Perfect temperature and no weeds.

Relaxing week on the lake

This is the perfect place for us to enjoy Cowichan Lake. This rental has all we need - bbq for cooking and eating al fresco. Comfy couch and tv for the nights we want to curl up and watch a movie. Relaxing outdoor seating for Amazing views of the sunsetting over the lake. And the dock to hang out all day and cool of in the lake . We always enjoy our visit with Wayne, Sue and Ferrari / looking forward to next year.

Amazing Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Wayne’s beautiful suite. It was well appointed with everything we needed. The patio was lovely in the morning for coffee and playing games in the evenings. The dock was perfect for soaking up the sun or shade. And nothing beats a dip in the lake. And last but not least the fresh eggs were a nice touch! Thank you for the much needed long weekend away. We spend a short summer week at this beautiful apartment with our family of 4 (2 under 10) and had the best time! Wayne and Sue are wonderful hosts and the chicken cage and fresh eggs have been a real highlight for our kids. Needless to say how amazing the waterfront location was.... the private terrace as well as the outside table were perfect for Lakeview lunches and sunset dining... the view is just spectacular and another highlight - the large dock - is just a few steps down the yard. The apartment was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Thanks again for letting our family make wondeful memories! We will be back for sure

This was our 3rd year here and looking forward to next year already. Spent most of the days lazing on the dock and swimming in the lake. Was a treat having fresh eggs from the chickens.

Wayne and Susan have lived on Lake Cowichan since 2006. Wayne has been in the renovation business for 35 years (now retired) and with Susan's help has built this beautiful suite. Susan is a semi-retired Registered Nurse.
