The property hosts were very nice and welcoming. The airstream was well looked after with everything needed tucked away in the storage spaces. Bed was super comfortable. The site looking into a garden and over to the river was wonderfully relaxing and cool to swim in as well , on the very hot days. Very pet friendly, our little dog had a great time

This place is like a dream! Gorgeous and peaceful, everything I wanted out of this trip and more, and well worth the price. I would love to stay here again. This place is magic. I really wanted to go to the Cowichan River because as a child, my mum took me to a place that rented cabins every Mother's Day. We booked this place and when we drove in, it turns out this is the same place! My head almost exploded, as it brought back so many memories. New owners, and the property had been divided years ago, but it was the samw magical place.The AirStream was amazing. Just perfect. The owners are the nicest folks ever and we had a whole side of the property for our dogs, including the river, which is not only stunning, but warm for swimming. I can’t say enough about this place. Thank you!

Great place for quiet and relax. We stayed early July. River access 200 feet away from the Airstream trailer to your sandy swimming hole in the Cowichan river! Hosts Rob an Sandy and Hazel (their dog) are amazing people. We came to bike ride the many trails of the Cowichan river valley trail.The property is a turn of century fishing lodge (mansion)! Hosts will tell you about the history, the well-water system from across the river, the old water tower reverted to a mini home. There is no AC in the trailer. On hot days the trailer has built in turbo fans in the ceiling and they work well to pull hot air out of the trailer. When temp was 30C on our days, the temp drops by 10pm so everything cools well at night. All the windows open and have screens on them. The bed is was amazingly comfortable and the outdoor shower and kitchen was perfect. The only thing I would wish for is if it rains hard, if hosts have a pop up tent to cover the picinic table to keep dry. We never asked and we didn't need it. You can always sit at the table in the trailer and play cards. There is a half size fridge/freezer inside and are hooked up to water and sewer line. They have a giant swing umbrella over the picnic table to keep you shaded when hot. The meadow in front of the trailer is full of dozens of bird types, some we have never seen before, gorging on the feeders they have set up. If you know your way around a trailer and enjoy a touch of camping life this is for you.

The property was beautiful and peaceful and everything I needed was there… The river was just a quick stroll away and it was safe for swimming and floating and enjoying the weather. Rob and Sandy’s place is absolutely amazing! Rob gave us a tour of the property and made us feel so welcome.The airstream was clean and cozy and the property was ideally located on the river - so tranquil and beautiful. We enjoyed picking apples and plums that they shared with us and cooking meals in the outdoor kitchen. We can’t wait to go again.

This accommodation is not only utterly wonderful and unique, but it offers so much nature and space to enjoy on the property. We definitely would want to return to enjoy swimming in the river and chilling on the deck! The BBQ and gas firepit are great addition to the glamping experience!
