This home is in an ideal location for Durango, it is situated in a friendly neighborhood close to parks, bike trails, golf and Fort Lewis College. The home is on a safe and quiet street with very little traffic. Just minutes away from downtown Durango. The attention to detail is incredible, with custom finishes throughout. All closets including pantry were built out with high-end adjustable shelving. Kitchen has custom cabinets and all counter tops are high-end granite. The lighting fixtures were carefully selected to fit the space and make it feel like home. The landscaping is immaculate with Custom Fencing and Flagstone patios in the backyard are stunning and make this in-town home feel like a place to escape!

Perfect getaway

This house in Durango was probably the nicest long term rental we have used. The kitchen was well stocked and the neighborhood was amazing. We stayed for over 2 months and loved everything about it.

Felt like home

Brock was a wonderful host and the home is beautiful, comfortable and quiet. Great location too! Minutes from grocery stores and Main Street. My dog appreciated the fenced yard and all the sunlight that poured through the windows. We felt right at home!

Amazing House, Perfect Location

This house was perfect for my family. We stayed for the month of June while visiting friends in Durango. The backyard was a nice little sanctuary for us, and the quiet street and gravel road were perfect for bike riding and trail access. Beds were comfy, couch was new and also quite comfortable, large TV in the living room and a huge garage for all of our gear. We really hope to stay here again next summer. Thanks!

Everything we wanted...

We stayed here for 2 months and the house was the perfect fit for us. We loved the neighborhood and location; lots of kids out playing together and a true sense of community. We hiked and mountain biked from the house daily, and there were several places to easily take our dog on walks...right from the front door. The fenced rear yard felt private and was a terrific place to hang out with our pets--even our cat! The house itself is clean, well-appointed, and well-cared for, as well. Brock was easy to communicate with and quickly responded to our inquiries throughout the process. Truly a 5-Star experience!

What an amazing month!!! We truly enjoyed our home away from home! It was hard to leave. Quiet neighborhood, lovely walks, and a GREAT location to downtown Durango. We would definitely stay here again!

Look No Further!

Brock is a wonderful host and this home is better than advertised! My wife, our dog, and I spent the better pet of 2 months here and wish we could have stayed longer. The neighborhood is incredible, the house is cozy, and we loved having cookouts in the backyard! We both worked from home without issue and spent a majority of our days on conference calls with multiple devices without any problems. 5Ghz is hard to find in the mountains, but service is reliable. If you’re looking for a great place to get away while still being conveniently close to the joys of downtown Durango look no further!

Great House and Central to Durango!

This was probably one of the greatest VRBO stays we have ever had. The house was immaculately clean when we arrived. The kitchen has everything you need to cook - great knives, pans, and appliances (even a mini food processor!). The neighborhood is great, and everyone is very friendly. You can walk or go for a bike ride quite comfortably. Besides the neighborhood, downtown Durango is 5 minutes away, and there are so many hiking options just a bit farther. Will be coming back for sure!

An absolutely PERFECT getaway

We wanted a place to work remotely from for a month and loved every single minute at Brock's Durango home. The house is so light and bright, feels roomy and just happy! There's a great window right over the sink so you get to enjoy a gorgeous view of the ridge while you wash dishes. There's a fantastic backyard for the dog with great seating areas to enjoy the blue bird days. The neighbors are absolutely lovely and the neighborhood was a joy for evening dog walks (everyone was SO friendly). The house was clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. It was a much needed month away and could not have been a more perfect location. This house was sublime for working remote AND enjoying trails, dog parks and ski runs all in less than a 15 minute drive away. We highly highly recommend this fantastic Durango house!

December in Durango

Our month in Durango was awesome. Close to everything! Down the street from the Skyline trail, sky steps and downtown Durango. Wonderful skiing at Purgatory 35 minutes away. No contact check in was easy. House was obviously just cleaned and had everything we needed. Brock was quick to respond to all my inquiries. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

you won't be disappointed

We took a nursing contract in town and stayed at this property for several months. The home was perfect for a long term stay - very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The yard was amazing for our furry companions. It's in a great location, close to trailheads and only a short ride into town. The neighborhood is walkable and neighbors are very friendly. The hosts are great and responsive. If we find ourselves back in Durango, we would book this property again.
