We had a great stay at this very well appointed condo. Everything from the fully stocked kitchen to the full washer and dryer to the location was awesome. The condo is a short uber ride to downtown. It is also situated in a perfect spot and close to the pool. So comfortable to hang inside or outside on the patio. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice to know that you had a pleasant stay at the condo. Your kind comment is appreciated.
A great value considering the location was very convenient to palm canyon dr, grocery stores and restaurants. The pool had great views and was not too crowded. When we arrived there was a heat wave with temperatures above 100 and the air conditioning was not working. We contacted the host Joie and she went out of her way to get it repaired that evening. This really helped after a long travel day.
We enjoy staying at Ocotillo Lodge very much. This condo had all the essentials to make our stay very comfortable. The washer/dryer were very convenient. The furniture and bed were comfortable. The patio furniture was adequate and we really liked the gas grill. The spacious patio gave nice views of the mountains. The location is very close to the pool and the entrance gates. The communication with the host was good and they accomodated us on an early check-in. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
Excellent location walkable to downtown, Tahquitz Canyon & the grocery. The property itself is a bit dated and definitely not a “scene” if that’s what you’re looking for but the Casita is well stocked (although I did purchase my own coffeemaker.) I stayed for 20 days and have a good sense of Coachella Valley; will return but not to the Ocotillo Lodge property.
Unit was very clean and cozy and a nice location on the complex. We appreciated the host accommodating our request for an early check-in. We hope to be back soon!
Lovely unit with everything we needed. Beautiful pool and spa area. (Wonderful swimming!) Well maintained quiet complex. Great location, places to walk, and near everything. We had a great time.

Thank you very much for your review. Hope you visit us again. Thank you Molly and Joyce
Everything about our stay was perfect. Very comfortable king bed, every kitchen appliance and gadget available in the updated kitchen, and the pool area with views of the mountains was lovely. Communication with owner was outstanding. Definitely recommend andWe look forward to staying again.
A very nice condo for a Palm Springs getaway. Amenities were great and while the weather didn't get us to the pool, it looked very inviting. And nice and convenient and quiet.
We’ve stayed at the Ocotillo before and love the location. We decided to try a new bungalow this time and were extremely happy! The unit is inside the gate only a few steps from the pool and hot tub. It was clean and well equipped (including TVs in both the living and bedroom and a full sized washer and dryer inside the unit), and we appreciated the bottle of wine that was waiting for us when we arrived. We would gladly stay here again!

Love this historic mid century property. The unit has great style right down to all the kitchen accessories. Only wish the quite private outdoor patio area had a larger table for outdoor dining.

Thank you Richard for your wonderful review. Hope to host you again in the future. Joie
Love the unit and Lodge. Kitchen was great. Patio area needs work. Patio furniture needs an upgrade and is not the same as pictured in the listing. Sliding screen door to patio needs repair.
Several amenities at this property deserve mentioning; this unit has both dishwasher and washer/dryer. Most units at this property don't. It has dishware, cookware, and coffee makers. The one item that wasn't clear prior to checkin is you will need two access codes: a property/gate code AND a unit door code. Owner could improve check-in by ensuring customers are provided both (we weren't). But overall, I think you'd be delighted to stay here.
Perfect stay in a classic midcentury complex. The unit had everything you could possibly need and more! We really appreciated the gourmet snacks, chocolates, wine and beverages. Bed was very comfortable with plenty of room to unpack your things in the dresser and closet. It was a nice bonus to have a washer/dryer in the unit too. The pool and jacuzzis are also fantastic, even in the winter. My only suggestion would be to add a smartTV or streaming capability, but there is regular cable TV. If you appreciate midcentury design, you will love this unit and the Ocotillo Lodge!

Thank you for your wonderful review . Hope to host you again. Thank you
This is a well maintained property. The grounds, common areas and the unit we stayed in were clean and very well appointed. It is in a great location just a short drive from downtown and it is very quiet. The pool is large with plenty of furniture and features a great view of the San Jacinto mountains. The only hiccup was getting into the unit upon arrival. The code to the entry gate was incorrect. After hanging around for a bit, a resident let was into the complex. Next, we had a code to open the door to our rental, but the instructions did not provide a unit number, so we had no idea where to go. We called and messaged the owner and then called Vrbo. After about an hour of standing in the cold talking to a Vrbo rep, the owner contacted us with the code for the unit and we were able to get in and warm up.All-in-all, a great and convenient place to stay.

Vrbo had given the renter an old access number. When I called Vrbo what happened, they were not able to explain . The welcome guide with Vrbo clearly stated the unit number and the right access code to get in . They said « computer glitch ». Hopefully it never happens again. Sorry for this inconvenience.
This was our first stay in Palm Springs. Over the years, we've always stayed in either Palm Desert or La Quinta, but were looking for a change of pace this time. We were so tickled with this rental! It was just what we were looking for; quintessential Palm Springs. The Property is situated on S Palm Canyon Dr, a short distance from Downtown in one direction, and a short distance from various shopping and commercial in the other. The development is gated and the check-in/check-out is contactless. The unit itself was very cleverly renovated at some point to make the absolute most of every square inch while providing every modern convenience. Extremely nicely done; beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The unit is light and bright, quiet and felt very private. Each room was thoughtfully stocked with everything one might reasonably need or want. We would certainly highly recommend this property based on our experience and we would very happily stay here again!

Easy going guests, good communication.
Kept the house clean,
Respectful of house rules.
I have stayed at Ocotillo Lodge for many years, and unfortunately have not been able to rent they same unit twice. There are many levels of remodels in the complex and this one is a very good upgrade than most with updated IKEA cabinetry and well stocked with everything you will need. I hav two things that were not good. One was there were, and still are, long hairs in one of the bathroom vanity drawers, and there must have been more from the same person which were not cleaned out of the shower as I saw some on the floor after getting out. The other is the living room sofa bed. The cushions shifted almost every time you get up as it is a sofa bed and the cushions do not stay “tucked in” snuggly. Other than that, and like most other units I have stayed in, there is a huge lack of cabinet space for groceries. Since I visit for a couple of week, the kitchen counters serve the purpose of grocery storage. I would still recommend this unit to stay in as it is a single level building. The two story building are extremely noisy if you are in a lower level unit

I’m sorry to hear about the bathroom vanity drawers. The housekeeper has been made aware of this issue. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Regards
The management team
The lodge is very well situated with a short drive to the main downtown area. Elmers is a good breakfast spot just across the street and Koffi is a great coffee and pastry spot on the same side of the street with lots of specialty drinks and delicious muffins. The pool is spacious and well cared for. 308 is very well appointed with lots of amenities that you would not expect in a VROB. Joy was a supper helpful and flexible. I would certainly book it his unit again.
