Relax with all the comforts of home in this beautifully decorated mid-century modern one bedroom condo, located in the iconic Ocotillo Lodge, just minutes from downtown Palm Springs. Designed by William Krisel in 1956, this cozy top floor condo is located just steps from the champagne cork shaped heated pool, one of the largest in Palm Springs, as well as two whirlpool spas.

The interior features classic mid-century architectural elements such as tongue & groove ceilings, clerestory windows and a glass slider overlooking the semi-private patio area. The condo has been delightfully renovated with a contemporary flair!

The grounds of the complex are beautifully designed with desert landscape and cactus. The main clubhouse has a lounge area with pool table that overlooks the pool. Relax at the nostalgic Sunshine Bar adjacent to the pool area.

Ocotillo Lodge was designed by world renowned architects Dan Palmer and William Krisel and was built by George and Bob Alexander in 1957. The resort was a popular destination and hot spot for Hollywood celebrities such Lucille Ball, Marilyn Monroe, George Burns, Gracie Allen, Peggy Lee and The Rat Pack.

Please note: Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire complex.

The property was very clean which was very much appreciated as this is the first thing we concern ourselves with. The condo is well maintained and the complex is great. The property manager was easily accessible as well. Overall, great stay!

Great place!

The apartment was perfect for two people. It was bright and decorated appropriately. The pool and hot tubs were very clean. Although you have to drive to downtown, the iconic Purple Club is in walking distance, and for breakfast Elmers is right across the street.

Everything was as stated. And condition of the apartment was excellent! We enjoyed using the hot tub and it was great that there was couple of cloth robes available, as well as pool towels. They could use a few potholders and an extra dish towel for folks to use, especially if you plan on cooking on site. But those are super small omissions. And we honestly found the space perfect for the two of us for the week that we were in Palm Springs.

The property was lovely, with easy access to downtown Palm Springs and various hiking trails. The condo was very clean, with great natural lighting and well-appointed amenities. Our short trip to Palm Springs was made worry-free with our stay at the "Oliver" at Ocotillo Lodge!

We stayed for 11 days in February. Great weather, nice clean property. Pool area and hot tubs were fantastic. Easy check in, property manager was available but we didn't need anything. All good.

Film Festival Stay

Great stay. Well furnished and supplied. Beautiful view of mountains from windows. Ample parking. Exterior needs some work which is planned. Would definitely rent again. Very smooth check in.

Beautiful area. Nice Lodge

We were surprised to see this unit is on the second floor with no elevator access. The online pictures made it appear as if it was ground level. Nonetheless, we were very pleased with the unit, and the amenities offered at Ocotillo Lodge. The hosts were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with.
