Calm and charme close to the beach

Villa Andrée, a group of 6 small former fisherman houses from 1922, is located in a quiet residential area of ​​Capbreton.One hears nothing but the sea, located at ~ 600 m (10 min. walking distance) The famous cycle track " Vélodyssée "passes at ~ 250m. The house is not directly on the street, a sandy path, equipped with wooden walkways, leads to the Nungeser and Coli street. Our location is one of those old fisherman houses, number 4. It kept its original architecture, modest, but charming, and equipped with every modern comfort.Sophisticated lighting and modern design mixed with authentic ethnical objects create a warm, cosy atmosphere, to which contributes also the wooden terrace, surrounded by lush local vegetation. Between it and the house you have a veranda which can be an extension for the outside or the inside thanks to its large sliding doors
The house and its garden terrace offer all possibilities of relaxation and farniente. Whenever you feel like you need a change, you can go to te beach , buy fresh fish at the fishing harbour or do your shopping in the market or the old village. All this, if you like, walking , or by bike. By the way, 2 bicycles are at the disposal of our guests,; they don't have to rent them.

Semaine bien remplie et sportive , à Capbreton on a toujours fait tout à pied ou à vélo pour aller à la plage ou au centre . comme on disposait déjà de 2 vélos à la location c'est appréciable je recommande cette location et le propriétaire donne de bons conseils pour les visites et les restaurants .

Très agréable séjour dans cette jolie maison bien agencée et bien située. Quartier calme avec proximité de l'océan et de la ville pour les commerces. Belles balades à effectuer sur le bord de mer et du lac marin. Accueil sympathique.

Wunderschönes Haus

Das Ferienhaus ist perfekt ausgestattet es fehlt an nichts. Es ist wunderschön eingerichtet und künstlerisch sehr geschmackvoll dekoriert. Jeder Eppendorfer aus Hamburg fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Strand, Promenade, Shops sind alle bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Haus ist umgeben von wunderschönen alten Villen, Häusern und Gärten. Es liegt sehr ruhig und die Wellen kann man hören

Ruhige Unterkunft, nur 10 min vom Strand entfernt

In jeder Hinsicht überzeugend. Überaus freundlicher, sehr hilfsbereiter Vermieter, der uns sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge, Einkäufe und den Ort gab. Das Appartment ist sehr gut eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts, der Kühlschrank riesig, inkl. Gefrierbereich. Die Betten und das Bad sind gut. Besonders praktisch sind die beiden Fahrräder, die wir für alle Einkäufe oder Touren nutzen konnten. So brauchten wir den Wagen gar nicht. Capbreton ist sehr radfahrerfreundlich, überall gut sichtbare Radstrecken bis in die umlegenden Orte. Ein empfehlenswerte Radtour ist beispielsweise ein Ausflug Richtung Labenne in das Naturschutzgebiet Marais d'Orx. Dort kann man am See zahllose Vögel beobachten. Das Appartment hat einen kleinen Wintergarten, in dem man bei Regen sitzen und gemütlich essen kann, viel schöner ist es aber auf der kleinen Terrasse davor. Es gibt auch Liegestühle. Wie gesagt, es fehlt an nichts. Wir können das Appartment sehr empfehlen, zumindest für zwei Personen ist es groß genug.

Un petit coin de paradis !

Au delà du fait que les plages, le centre ville sont à proximité, à notre arrivée dans ce gîte, nous avons eu le sentiment que nous arrivions chez des amis qui nous attendaient et avaient tout prévu pour que notre séjour se passe bien. 10 sur 10 pour la propreté, l'aménagement du gîte, rien ne manque. Après de nombreuses années d'expérience en location, c'est la première fois que l'on a eu cette sensation d'être comme chez nous. Un grand merci donc, et à très bientôt !

Superbe gîte !

Gîte parfaitement équipé, décoration soignée et très beau jardin-terrasse. Idéalement situé, au calme et sans vis-à-vis. Le propriétaire, très sympathique, nous a accueilli chaleureusement nous laissant à disposition une maison où assurément nous reviendrons en fonction des disponibilités. Propriétaires d'un Gîte de France à Ury, pays de Fontainebleau, nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location de charme très cosy.

Charme et tranquillité au rendez-vous

Nous avons passé de très agréables vacances dans cette charmante maison très bien équipée et idéalement située. Tout y est absolument parfait! Elle possède tout le nécessaire pour y passer un séjour réussi (possibilité de se rendre à la plage ainsi qu'aux commerces à pied, 3 vélos sont à notre disposition, literie de qualité, chaises longues et plancha pour profiter de la terrasse, tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner, ...). Le logement est propre. La décoration du propriétaire est un petit plus qui fait que l'on se sent vraiment bien dans ce logement. L’environnement y est très calme. Accueil très sympathique du propriétaire qui a su nous conseiller les "bonnes adresses". Je ne peux que recommander ce logement!

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine à Cap-Breton avec le soleil au rendez vous ! Nous avons pu même déjeuner sur la terrasse un midi ! Encore un grand merci pour votre accueil, la maison est vraiment chaleureuse, très bien équipée, très propre et au calme. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir avec grand plaisir ! Les dunes sont à quelques minutes à pied, le stationnement très aisé dans la rue. Encore merci !

I am an antique dealer and occasionally a landscape gardener.For this reason a beautifully decorated house and a harmonious private garden are important to me. At the same time I like the idea of being close to the open sea and natural , well preserved surroundings, which allow me walks, hikes and bicycke rides through wilsd areas.The Villa Andrée, Capbreton and the "Côte D'Argent" ( the Silver Coast"") give me all these possibilities.

My mother language is German, but , as you see, I also speak English, French of course and Italian and Spanish.That is why I can welcome most of my guests in their mother tongue

Why they chose this property

What seduced me , when I bought Villa Andrée end of 2015, was the quietness, the privacy and the richness of the area's natural surroundings.Furthermore it is very close to enormous beaches and the Atlantic Ocean.And it has the advantage that you can live without your car for some days, if you wish.There are cycle tracks everywhere
I love to watch the surfers or spectacular sunsets.Or just walk on the beach with the Pyrennees and the mountains of the Spanish coast infront of me.

And why Capbreton? Because it's a living coastal resort, even in winter, with a rich historic past. Its shops and markets offer products of excellent quality.In the harbour you can buy fish directly from the fishermen.

And if vou feel like changing scenery and country, the Spanish border is 40 minutes away ( by car of course)
