The southern-style front porch is perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or gathering for an evening conversation. Upon entering the home, you are greeted with a warm, comfortable beach vibe, upscale furnishings, hard wood floors, and an open floorplan. The kitchen features custom wood cabinets, a center island, and stainless steel appliances. The dining table seats 6 guests, with an additional 3 bar stools at the counter. The screened porch is accessible from this area. Overlooking the golf course and natural surroundings, it's the ideal place to relax on the cozy outdoor furniture or dine outside. Right at your fingertips you can walk right across the golf course to the Tomasso Restaurant or play a round of golf at Turtle Point.

There is ample sleeping space for family and friends. The first floor contains 3 bedrooms. The first two bedrooms both have queen beds, and the third has two twins. One queen room has a private bathroom, while the other two rooms share a hall bath. The second floor hosts the other two bedrooms, including the gorgeous master suite with king bed and private bathroom, as well as the fifth bedroom, which has two queens and a private bathroom.

This spacious home is a perfect spot for a families or golfers alike. It is less than a 10 minute walk or a quick bike ride to the beach, which can be accessed using boardwalks #28 or #29. Enjoy miles of nature trails, world-class golfing, tennis, water sports, fishing and more. Come check it out!

Kiawah Family Trip

Size of house nice for everyone. Further away than expected from Night Heron Park and all the kid activities. Beach access did not have a rinse off shower.

Beautiful Home

Our Book Club travelled to South Carolina and we had a great stay in this property. Six of us and plenty of room to relax. Home was charming and great location for walks to the beach or trips to Charleston. Would definitely come again.

Excellent location for race participants and spectators. On Half route, and walking distance to start, finish, and BEACH! Perfect layout for 2 families plus a single (we are work colleagues).

Cozy and Walkable

If you’re looking for a very comfortable, warm home with easy access to the beach, then this place is for you. Comfortable bedrooms, inviting public spaces, and fully stocked, this house was perfect for our group of 6. It’s just an 8 minute walk to the beach through a quiet neighborhood and over a bridge. Wonderful place!

Wonderful

We love kiawah and have stayed in many homes here over the years . This one fit our needs perfectly. The covered outdoor porches were particularly nice because they were so spacious. Kitchen was a little small for multiple cooks but very well stocked with cookware.

Clean, Roomy, Convenient Kiawah Rental

This is a great house to rent for a golf weekend or if you have any reason to be in Kiawah Island. It's clean, conveniently located, and roomy. It has two great porches, a kitchen with everything you'll need and is a sand-wedge away from the Turtle Point Golf Course clubhouse, which has a decent Italian restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay here. You should know beforehand that renting this property does not give one access to 'resident-pricing' for the Kiawah golf courses, which are extremely pricy.

We LOVE the house. This is our third consecutive summer staying at this property. Although, this year the house was filthy when we arrived. We spent the first two hours in the house cleaning before we could settle in. Also, we paid extra for the early check-in, but when we arrived the house was still not ready for another hour. Overall, this was not so much of an issue with the house but Sweetwater, who manages the property.

We’ll be back

The layout of the house allowed a lot of privacy between bedrooms. Plenty of room. We did a lot of cooking and this kitchen is very well stocked, there wasn’t anything that was lacking. Plenty of dishes for a large family. Perfect location for walking to beach. My oldest boys loved being on the golf course. It was convenient for their golfing. I didn’t give a 5 star for cleanliness because the grill was very dirty and took extensive cleaning on our part before we could use it. Also the grill utensils inside were dirty as well as a few other utensils and a glass or 2 that we had to wash prior to using. The outside table on the porch also would have required cleaning but we chose not to use it. The screened porch in the back was absolutely wonderful., very peaceful and relaxing. Overall great vacation.

Great House that Needs Some TLC

Our family of 6 adults and one toddler recently stayed at 2 Ocean Green Drive. The house is a 10 minute shaded walk to the beach and directly across from the community pool. It sits directly in the golf course which exposes the house to a lot of noise from the golf maintenance crew (leaf blowing was early and frequent) and clubhouse (parties at night). If location is a priority, this house will be ideal for you. The house has a great layout and lots of sitting room for visiting and dining. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you would need for cooking. The outdoor propane gas grill was in good repair and worked well. The biggest issue we had was the lack of cleanliness throughout the house. From grime on the kitchen counters, significant mold/mildew in the master shower, dirty bed and bath linens, cobwebs and dirt on the outdoor seating areas- it was disappointing. There were also minor maintenance issues (electrical sockets under the kitchen cabinet that had come loose, sliding glass door handle was missing, master bathrobe hook on the back of the door was broken). None of these things are major issues, but collectively reflect a home that is not being managed well.

2 Ocean Green Kiawah Island

The property was lovely and as advertised. Beds were comfortable, location was perfect - under ten minutes to bike to beach with the kids. Only issue was that the oven, for the one night we needed it, was a challenge to get to work. We reported it (and a nail popping up from a step on the carpeted stairs to the second floor). We think the managers should ensure that appliances work well and not assume they do because no other tenants have reported issues.

Kiawah Family Vacation

My family rented this property to attend wedding on the island. The check in process was very easy, although it would have been nice to check in a bit earlier than 4pm. Even 3pm would have allowed enough time to get settled and check out the pool or a restaurant that first night. The home was gorgeous, exactly as pictured, and the layout was perfect for the four adult couples and three children we had in our group. The kids loved exploring the grounds of the property, walking to the beach, and playing at the big playground at nearby Night Herron Park. The beach was a fairly short walk, although I did have to call the property manager to get detailed directions, as you’d never find the path otherwise. The beach was never crowded, which may be typical of early October, but made it very enjoyable. One suggestion to the owner would be to include a binder with information on how to operate the televisions (after a week, I still didn’t have it figured out-and with kids, sometimes a cartoon is needed), menus for local restaurants (there was a list provided by the property management company, but for sit-down restaurants, and we wanted take out), and as mentioned earlier, detailed directions for how to find the beach path. All in all, this property exceeded our expectations, and worked so well for our family. I’d recommend it to any family or larger group, and maybe one day we’ll be back!

Property was as advertised - we absolutely loved it. Was perfect for our two families, each with one 2 year old. Walk to the beach was a little longer than expected but with deer, alligators and other wildlife to see along the way, everyone looked forward to the walk each time. Can’t wait to return.

Beautiful Property

Gorgeous and comfortable home. The island is beautiful!!! The pool was right across the street. The walk to the beach was wonderful not too far at all. Took over 2.5 mile walks round trip each day.
