BUGS

There was an issue with ants in the second bathroom. They came sprayed but did not help much. We could use the second bathroom. Unit beside us had a dog that barked a lot.

Thank you for your feedback. Please again accept our apologies for any issues you experienced with the ants. As you said, our team came to spray as well as leave traps. At the time, they noted that there weren't many in the villa which is certainly a relief and likely due to them coming in through an open window. We are sorry to hear of any issues with neighboring units. Regrettably, as they are all privately owned villas, sometimes noise preferences of the town and other people aren't respected.

Island Vacation

My family and I stayed here during the first week in June and had a really great time. The property was as described, in a very quiet part of the island, and was just 10 minutes walk to the beach. We really enjoyed hanging out on the screened in porch and listening to all of the wild life that was around the property. The kitchen and bathrooms were also very well stocked, which is not always the case with a lot of rentals, so we were really impressed with this level of service. I think the only thing I would have liked to have seen done differently would have been to have more room in the pantry. A lot of the space was taken up by building materials, which I assume they have in case of damage or if touch-ups are needed, but it made it tough to find a place to store our dry goods.Otherwise, we had no complaints.

Kiawah for Thanksgiving

We were very happy with this property. We’ve stayed at Kiawah a handful of times and this was our favorite property out of them all.

Beautiful View

This is a perfect experience. We had a screened in porch and such a beautiful view. The universe updated and clean and the banks were so very comfortable! We had a question while we were there and the property management responded to us immediately! What a great experience. I would highly recommend it!

Wonderful two bedroon getaway on Kiawah Island

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was very nice. No views but a close bike ride to the beach. Second story villa that looks to be recently renovated. Suggestions to add blinds to the front windows and a few missing items in the kitchen (baking sheet, bottle opener) but overall a great place to stay. Was clean and master bath shower was a plus. Pad for check-in/check out was not working. Bike rentals were not optimal. Tire was flat but quickly replaced. Seat adjustment was rusted and was too high and could not be moved.

We were impressed with both rentals in terms of quality and cleanliness. The rental process is quick and easy because there are no additional check-in steps. Excellent stay!

The only downside was that the heating system was extremely noisy and would not turn off. When on, it would alternate with blowing cold air. But aside from that, this was an excellent experience and Akers makes everything smooth and easy for check in and out.

We apologize for any inconvenience this caused! Update- As of December 2nd, a part was replaced on the HVAC unit which has corrected this issue.

Nice vacation rental

This property was clean and comfortable. It is a close walk to the beach. Interior was roomy and beds/couches were good. Our only issue was we did not have clean linen and pillows for hide-a-bed. Also the freezer had loud noises coming from it. Great place for golfers. Recommend renting bikes for a few days or the week.
