SLEEPS 6 comfortably with split A/C systems in the main living room and the two bedrooms. Hale Loke is conveniently located in the Poipu Kai Resort on Kauai's sunny south side in Poipu in a quiet residential community, directly off the green belt, steps from the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa, Shipwreck Beach, Poipu and Baby/Brennecke's Beaches and some of the best snorkeling, hiking, sight seeing and golf!
Hale Loke is a beautiful home in the Bayview Lots Community, boasting over 2,300 square feet of living space and a large lanai overlooking the lush vegetation. It has two spacious primary bedrooms, one with two king size beds, oversized bathrooms and plenty of closet space. This home is located near the Poipu Greenbelt, with its paved walkway leading to some of the finest beaches on the south shore of Kauai. Take a 5 -10 minute stroll to Brennecke’s Beach to watch the sea turtles or for some world-class boogie boarding and body surfing. Or head 5 minutes in the opposite direction for quick access to the Grand Hyatt Resort and Shipwrecks Beach. Poipu is a great home base for exploring the Garden Isle, from Waimea Canyon and Polihale on the West to Kapaa, Princeville and Hanalei to the North.

The two story 2350 sq ft home has a spacious great room with giant 65 inch smart HDTV, 7 ft billiard table and open concept kitchen that offers flexibility to entertain and enjoy family and friends. The oversized main floor is bright and welcoming with multiple large windows, skylights and an adjacent bedroom with walkout lanai, large double sink bathroom, oversized tub and shower. The second bedroom is located on the second floor and features a private walk out spacious lanai, huge walk in closet and two king beds. A separate large bathroom with double sinks, soaker tub and walk in shower offers convenience.

The 2350 square foot vacation retreat is nestled between the Mahalapue Mountain range with gorgeous views, sweeping tropical trade winds and distant ocean sounds and breezes. It's a tropical paradise with all the conveniences you would expect of a private home.

Adherence to the following house rules will ensure a safe and peaceful experience for all guests. All guests at the Loke House are responsible for abiding by these rules:

•Smoking is NOT permitted inside or outside. It is strictly enforced. A $250 cleaning fee may apply with any evidence.
•No unreasonable loud noise, Patrol Services monitors the area routinely.
•No more than six (6) guests (including children over 2), and no unauthorized overnight guests are permitted to stay without express permission of owner/manager.
•CHECK-IN: Check-In time is after 4:00 PM (or as soon as your rental home has been fully inspected and prepared for your arrival).
•CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is before 10:00 AM. Upon check-out, please leave home in the same condition as when you arrived.
•KEYS: Non-returned keys will incur a $35.00 fee per key. Each reservation will be provided with a minimum one set of keys.
•DAMAGE/MISSING ITEMS: All breakage and damage to your rental home during your stay must be reported to the host before your departure so that we may settle the matter as soon as possible. Tenants are responsible for and are expected to assume liability for any damage to the home and its' contents, other than normal wear and tear, during their occupancy.
•ITEMS LEFT AT RENTAL HOME: Host will not be responsible for personal items left in the home at check-out. A minimum $25.00 service charge and mailing costs are required if you request host to pick up and return these items to you.
•MAID SERVICE may be available upon request, at a fee: In addition to regular cleaning before and after your stay, we are pleased to offer you the convenience of mid-week cleanings & trash removal during your stay. Our cleaning service cost varies. Inquire with the host for details and arrangements.
•COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES: As a courtesy to our guests, wireless high speed Internet access is available
•TV USAGE: Television station availability will be dependent upon Spectrum cable. Pay-per-view selections are not available. No adjustments to TV service will be made.
•HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE HOMES: If someone in your party has special requirements, please call host to see how this home may be best suited for your needs.
•USE OF PROPERTY: Unit may not be used for any activity which violates local, state, or federal laws, or subdivision restrictions.
•VEHICLES: No more than 2 cars are allowed at the home without express permission of manager. The garage is not available for tenant use.
•No tents are allowed.
*No climbing on roof for any reason, contact host.
•No fireworks or of any kind allowed on vacation home premises.
•No open fires are permitted.
•ENTRY: From time to time, it may be necessary to enter the home during reasonable hours for any purpose connected with the repair, care or management of the property.
•SMOKE DETECTOR: tenants to check smoke detector operation upon arrival and notify host of any malfunction in writing.
•If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless:
The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or a "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest.
The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;
-Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.
•We reserve the right to substitute comparable accommodations without liability should the unit be out of order.

The house needs a good scrubbing, especially the kitchen. We cleaned the filters in the dishwashers. It was discussing. The front door could use a good cleaning too. Burned out light bulbs need to be replaced. The floors were sticky. The house is nicely decorated. The location is great and in a nice neighborhood. Appreciated the beach chairs.

Wonderful 3 generation family getaway
This home was the perfect getaway for our family. Our group consisted of grandparents, husband, wife with 6 and 3 year old kids. The beds were very comfy and we all had good night's sleep during our stay. Grandma kept raving how relaxing the backyard was. We loved that the beach and resort was just steps away and we loved getting up to go for jogs in the morning. The kids loved having beach toys to play with, I liked having the pool table available to combat my jet lag. Location of the home was very convenient. There were a few light bulbs that needed to be changed. Be sure to bring toiletries as none was provided. You may also need to bring/purchase your own paper goods as some were not available. Overall wonderful stay.

First Time a VRBO exceeded my expectations
The place itself looked better than the pictures. Clean, easy to gather, wonderful backyard, and a 15 minute walk in front of the Grand Hyatt (beautiful) to Shipwreck Beach. Friends already saying we should always book this house when we come back :)

We are a So Cal family who loves to travel and explore. Kauai has been one of our very favorite destinations and we are happy to share our home with others. We have two sons and a dog. Both Pam and David grew up on the east coast, love the sun and surf of Ca. so they migrated west after college. Pam fell in love with the islands in the late 80s and vowed always to make it back over time. A friend had her wedding on Kauai and it won the hearts and minds of our family. The island seemed the natural next place for surf and sand.

Why they chose this property

It is great entertainment home in a quiet residential community within walking distance to multiple world known beaches, great restaurants and shops. The property allows a large group to enjoy one another around the central spacious kitchen living room and entertainment spaces but also spread out in different areas to enjoy quiet time. It has a terrific outdoor space with tropical plants and a wonderful lanai to enjoy the outdoors after a day exploring. The cathedral ceiling on both the first and second floors each have wood beam ceilings which are beautiful. The great room is a major feature of the home with massive windows, high ceilings, fans and a large oversized sectional, additional couch and chairs that create a wonderful experience for a vacationing family. We love to walk in shower in the master bath on the second floor, but the ground level offers conveniences for our aging parents. Everything is very convenient.

What makes this property unique

The two story home is quite spacious SLEEPS 6 and is an open concept to entertain with private backyard lanai, BBQ and a great flow to enjoy friends and family. The back yard is a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the island. It has newer outdoor dining table and sectional furniture with easy access to/from the dining room and kitchen to allow for easy entertaining for a large family or group.
