Indeed under the sun and stars!

We stayed in Les Hirondelles for two weeks in the summer of 2022 with four adults and two children and very much enjoyed our time there. Les Hirondelles is a very old but charismatic house. It has a beautiful garden with several terraces, sitting places and nice views. The swimming pool is great as well. Although the house is surrounded by three other houses (with very distinct and friendly neighbours), the place offers a lot of privateness and calmness (also thanks to the big gardens surrounding all of the houses). The house suited six people very well, but accomodating more than seven people is going to be challenging (since the place offers seven sleeping places). As said, the house is dated, so don’t expect a ultramodern, 100% flawless house, but expect a charismatic french house with history. The house does have things like a dishwasher, wash machine, dryer and a nice barbecue (i.e. basically all the luxury you need). The house does not have airconditioning, which - even despite the fact that each room has its own fan - can be somewhat challenging at night (although I have to admit that when we were there it was a very hot period). The house has the perfect location for exploring the very beautiful region. It is only a 5 minutes drive away from the charming village Villareal (with supermarket etc.). The house is only a +/- 20 minutes drive away from visiting places like Monflanquin and the castle of Biron. Note that the French countryside does come with (a lot of) insects (mosquitoes, gadflies), etc. The contact and communication with the house owners was very warm and constructive, thanks!

Nous avons séjourné deux semaines aux HIRONDELLES La maison est très agréable et bien équipée, nous avons apprécié de profiter du jardin L’emplacement des Hirondelles offre un cadre reposant et de découvrir la région.

Très agréable séjour dans un endroit calme et 'cosy' proche de nombreuses activités touristiques

Reflétant parfaitement les photos et descriptif du site 'Abritel' nous avons passé un excellent séjour aux 'Hirondelles'. La maison est spacieuse, très bien équipée, permettant de s'isoler si besoin sur une des 3 terrasses à disposition en fonction du soleil. La piscine très agréable, bien entretenue est bien sécurisée permettant aux petits enfants de gambader dans le jardin sans risque d'y pénétrer. Tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner (large four, barbecue à gaz sur la terrasse). L'accueil et les procédures de départ sont facilités permettant de profiter pleinement du séjour. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Bref un excellent séjour dan un lieu que nous recommandons!
