Superb holiday

This was a fantastic holiday. Thank you Eric and Irene. Great location for star gazing and the pool was a great bonus. The property is very clean and a good location for trips to Bergerac and Gouffe de Rouffignac-Saint-Cernin-de-Reilhac which were wonderful. Our hosts were helpful and friendly and we wou certainly recommend the property to future holiday makers. Merci x

Perfect position to explore the bastides of Sud Perigord

Superb location a few km from Villereal with lots of quiet lanes making it ideal for cycling locally and exploring further afield. Very practical house with lots of space inside and out. Lovely to have the pool for cooling off when the temperature reached the mid-30s. Irene and Eric are wonderful hosts. Recommended property.

Family holiday

Beautiful house, friendly owners and we got a warm welcome when we arrived. Pool was good, pingpong table was also good, many sunchairs in the garden. Kitchen was excellent for cooking for the big family! We could also charge our electric car( many thanks for this!). The surroundings of the house were beautiful (good for running) ,many nice places in the area to visit by car and Villereal is an adorable village! Thank you for a great holiday!

Fantastic 2 weeks

Wonderful location and Gite. A lovely welcome from Eric and Irene. They made us feel at home immediately. Our family arrived through the week, and were impressed with the Gite and location as well. We had a wonderful stay , a wedding, a wedding anniversary, birthdays, celebrating our new grandchildren.....just wonderful. Merci beaucoup Monsieur et Madame Le Gall.

Relaxing Family Holiday

We have travelled to this part of France for over 18 years for our family holidays, and this is the nicest gite in which we have ever stayed. The property was spotless and large, with more than enough room for 4 adults and a dog. More than enough storage, untensils and kitchenware and everything has been well thought out by Eric and Irene. Lovely to also have working fans in each room. Eric & Irene were the perfect hosts, friendly, welcoming and very helpful when needed. The location is perfect, being in the quiet of the french countryside, but only a few minutes drive to Villeréal for all your needs. A lot of beautiful villages to explore, all within a short distance. Would definitely recommend to any family or group of friends for a relaxing and homely holiday. Many thanks to Eric & Irene

Lovely house near to Villeréal

We received a very warm welcome from Eric & Irène who live next door. The house was as described and the photos do not really do it justice. Everywhere was clean and the pool was great. The wi-fi was a little slow but maybe that is due to being in the countryside. We enjoyed walks from the house and it was good to see birds which we had not seen for a while such as flycatcher and stonechat. The highlight was a hen-harrier. We have visited this area before but it was great to be back and the nearby bastide towns of Villeréal, Monpazier and Monflanquin are very picturesque. I did get a few mozzie bites so don’t forget your repellent! Overall a very relaxing holiday in a comfortable house and pleasant surroundings.

Wonderful stay at Lamoutole

Great welcome from Eric, with basket of local goods, so kind. He showed us round the whole gite & the outside, & was available by phone or at their house at all times. Eric & Irene are very friendly, a lovely family. The gite main room is superb, beamed & vaulted high ceiling, but lots of light & doors to open. Kitchen is very well stocked, enough equipment etc for 10 people, & a lovely size room, with a great five burner gas stove. Great gardens, boules court, table tennis, swings, trampoline, all well kept. Wonderful black & white cat, who we befriended, too. Very well mannered cat!! The bedrooms were fine, & the bathroom a good size. The whole experience was wonderful. The Gite is in a very quiet place, with barely any traffic, yet only 5km from Villereal, a great bastide town with a nice weekly market (& a wicked gateaux shop!) Oh, & large supermarket on the outskirts, very handy. It’s an ideal position to visit so many towns without long journeys. Thoroughly recommend a stay at this property.

Deux semaines merveilleuses

Le logement nous a beaucoup plu. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le propriétaire, qui habite juste à côté. Même en cas de questions et/ou de problèmes, le propriétaire était immédiatement à notre disposition. La maison est très spacieuse avec une cuisine ouverte très bien équipée. La piscine est très grande et dans le jardin, il y a de nombreuses chaises longues, des sièges, des barbecues, un terrain de pétanque, une table de ping-pong et même un WC de jardin. En outre, un grand équipement est disponible pour les jeunes enfants. La maison convient parfaitement à de nombreuses personnes. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.
