Very homey, cozy, and secluded lake front location. Located in a wooded area. Definitely need to follow the pin location! 4x4 a plus, especially if weather changes. Enjoyed fishing from rocks right on location. Beautiful view!!
My husband and I (in our late 50's)stayed 3 nights Sept 18-21. The host reached out to us about the road being partially washed out, they sent us pictures and we decided we could make it. When we arrived, there was a young man working on the road, he fixed it pretty darn good! Just an FYI, if you drive a car or low profile vehicle, I wouldn't recommend it.The hike down to the water involved boulder climbing and balance skills, but we caught some fish! The cabin wasn't very clean and the yard needed mowed. The towels and sheets smelled fresh and clean. The beds downstairs were too hard for us, but the one upstairs to the right was comfortable. It took the A/C unit a few hours to cool down the cabin but maintained it well. We had a very peaceful and relaxing weekend! Thank you Michelle and Victor for sharing your lake place with us.
VRBO had some issues getting our check info to the host. We didn't actually get to check in until the next day of our reservation but that was completely VRBO's fault. The host was wonderful to work with. The cabin has to be one of the first built on the lake. Was cute, cozy and obviously lots of history and memories were made there. The road to the house is a bit wild and washed out but we brought our side by side to cruise around anyway and parked vehicles at the top of the hill. We loved it. Was kind of an adventure. The cabin is water front with foot traffic access to the water. Cypriss Cove Marina is so close with day boat slips available. We will absolutely be returning to this cute little cabin in the woods by the lake.
We stayed in early October 2020 & it was JUST what we needed! It was a little hard to find because our GPS was off, but Victor guided us in like a pro. He was great to work with & was eager to please! The views were wonderful & we really loved having morning coffee on the deck. In the evenings, we enjoyed grilling & hanging out by the fire pit (make sure you bring your own wood). All 4 of us slept upstairs in the loft & we loved it. Our kids thought it was the coolest thing ever! We also sat on the floor up there & played Uno for hours. I HIGHLY recommend this cute little place & we look forward to staying there again!
We had a unique request and the owner was accommodating.
The property is secluded which on one hand it is a positive, on the other hand, it was somewhat difficult to find. Adding a map to the listing would be helpful. We had a good experience and recommend the property without reservation.
