The reality matched the pictures !

A lovely open space living area meticulously kitted out for lounging, cooking, eating. It was so renewing to be beside the river....the location & views from every room brought the outside in. It was as lovely & comfortable as we hoped. The kitchen was great to cook in and the water pressure was excellent. Nevin & Chris added a couple of thoughtful touches for our arrival which made for a pleasant welcome. Highly recommended !

Amazing Gem on the Hudson!

I cannot overstate how incredibly perfect this property and Nevin are! The booking and check-in process were both super easy and stress free with clear instructions and directions on the property, and key code entry for the front door. We woke up every morning to amazing sunrises on the Hudson that were truly spectacular. With a few flights of stairs down, getting to the river was a breeze and the kids loved walking and exploring the near-private beach. The house itself is also in walking distance to a great mini-downtown area with a general store, wine shop, deli, and restaurant. Even in the heat of summer, the rooms stayed cool - especially with windows open to the Hudson. The living area was open and perfect for cooking, entertaining, or just drinking tea in a lounge chair by the panoramic open windows. Our young kids loved having their own rooms, and the decor (including some fabulous artwork) was amazing. Nevin was so gracious and accommodating, really taking pains to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. I just hope we are able to stay here again the next time we're in town!

Perfect escape

We needed to get out of the city to see nature. This home is perfectly located by the Hudson River which you have direct access to , and is surrounded by nature. Different levels in the garden going down to the water. The house is a mixture of Swiss chalet Charm and modern design. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped. We cooked we baked and could always find what we needed to do so. The bathroom has an Incredible original old tub that is sooo comfortable The city is cute, a 10 mn walk, and has a great farmers market on Wednesday. Weather was not ideal everyday but the charm Of the place made it feel so cozy during the couple of storms we had. I hope We can go back soon.

Lovely house, beautiful setting.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay in this clean, quiet, spacious and perfectly appointed house. Nevin responded immediately to all of our questions and gave us great restaurant suggestions. Would definitely stay here again!
