Peaceful and comfortable property within easy walking distance of the centre of Montrichard. Perfect location for exploring the Cher (and Loire) valleys. For example, we hired bikes from Montrichard to cycle to Chenonceau, about 30 minutes away. There is a small Carrefour Express in the centre of Montrichard and two larger supermarkets within about a 5-minute drive.The host, who lives next door, was kind and helpful and the house with its old-fashioned charm had plenty of space and everything we wanted.

very peaceful

The bungalow was very nice and was in a very quiet area.,It was very well appointed and the lounge had nice comfortable chairs , very nice covered patio at the back overlooking the large garden. Pascal lived next door so was there if you needed anything,.Unfortunately we do not speak french and Pascal did not speak english but we managed with google translate.The only problem we had was with the shower which was attached to the taps and did not hook on the wall, however I understand Pascal will be installing a shower cubicle for next year which will be much better. many thanks Pascal for a nice holiday

Nous avons apprécié notre location présentant de nombreux avantages : Terrasse abritée, grand jardin, quartier calme à 10 mn à pied du centre de Montrichard. Les pièces à vivre sont grandes et bien bien aménagées. Et le propriétaire qui habite juste à côté est accueillant, discret et arrangeant. En bref, un très bon séjour malgré un temps maussade.

Fantastisch

Een heerlijk verblijf. Vooral de veranda. En het mooie uitzicht. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door Pascal. Heen lopen naar het dorp is prima maar terug gaat het stijl omhoog. Wel om rekening mee te houden. Verder grote supermarkten in de buurt. Echt een aanrader.

Pied à terre parfait pour un séjour en famille! Un logement fonctionnel et propre, au calme, un grand terrain pour pouvoir courir, jouer au ballon! Un hôte disponible, à l'écoute. Un ensemble simple et parfait pour déconnecter (bien que le wifi soit disponible!^^) L'adresse est retenue car quelques jours ne suffisent pas pour parcourir la région. Merci !

Maison au calme

Maison très agréable avec une magnifique terrasse couverte qui permet de se relaxer. Le grand jardin est un plus, on s'y promène allègrement. Le propriétaire est fort sympathique et à l'écoute. Un séjour ensoleillé et chaud dans cette belle région où les châteaux ont tous un intérêt certain.

Ruim huis met heerlijke tuin.

We hebben een prima tijd gehad in dit huis. In beide slaapkamers waren de bedden opgemaakt terwijl we maar met ons beide waren. We mochten kiezen. Werden hartelijk ontvangen door Pascal helaas spreken we geen Frans maar kwamen er toch uit .Heerlijke tuin waar je overal kon zitten in de schaduw of in de zon. Keurig verzorgd en schoon huis . Prima werkende wifi. Het enige nadeel voor ons zeker voor mijn man die ouder is en niet zo stabiel was het douchen in het bad en dat je ook de douche kop niet kon ophangen. Er was gelukkig wel een steun geplaatst dat was handig bij het in en uitstappen van het bad. Het leuke is dat je lopend naar het dorp kan. Op vrijdag naar de markt is echt een aanrader. Geen toeristen markt maar lekkere groenten enz.

Bonjour Suze et Frits, c'est la premiere fois que j'ai une remarque sur la baignoire / douche et je suis vraiment désolé de cet inconvenient. La baignoire sera retirée cet hivert ( pas de locataire) et un bac à douche sera installé.Bonne journée à vous deux et une bonne santé à Frits. Pascal
